An amazing piece of North American history. Erected in 1887 after first being assembled next to the Eiffel Tower, her big brother. Hint: Eiffel designed and built this church.

Driving through Mexico on a cross continent motorbike trip and had to stop and see the famous church built by Eifel. It is an interesting stop as most churches around here are the old brick a mortar style. This Church reminds me of a quansent like we would in Canada as a shop, it has steel frame, and steel walls. It's definitely worth stopping and taking a look at it, and the story behind it is pretty cool

Interesting history, who could imagine that in this small town you would find that this church was prefabricated and shipped to Mexico from France and designed by Eiffel!

This is a great stop. Designed by Eiffel and shown at the Paris exposition, this modular church was packed up and shipped by a French moving company to Santa Rosalia. It was reassembled there and has served as the city's church since then. Bolted together like an erector set, the church still manages a gravel shape.

This is a great place for a quick stop, I visited in July and it was extremely humid and hot.
