  I've been an active participant for 15 years. I was previously going to a church in Vancouver before we moved to Burnaby and it became too much. A contractor friend invited us to a new members lunch where I got to hear about the church programs. As I was dealing with postpartum depression, I needed something to "hold my hand" and support me through the process. As a result, I started with the Celebrate Recovery and Steps To Freedom programs, which gave me tools, freedome, and connection. From the programs, I saw grace in a whole new way as people were real and honest about what they were struggling with - different than what I saw from my previous church. From there, I've been involved in Life Groups, which is the core of connection in the church. It's the relationships I developed here that have kept me attending over the years. My daughter is involved in senior youth and volunteers with the coffee cart. My son is part of the kid's church program, which Aunite Pam has really enlivened! In all the 15 years, I've never been to the weekly prayer meetings. I started in the fall due to a couple hardships with work. It was such a blessing! My prayers were answered and I grew drastically in my relationship with God and others. I can't say enough good things about this church community and teaching. And the worship is exactly what I need everytime. Through the highs and lows, this church is there for me and I feel deeply cared for.

  If you want to learn about God and the Word? this is the church. If you want a relationship with Jesus? this is the place. It is difficult for me to write in a short review about how awesome this church truly is, I highly recommend it for anyone of any age as there is something for everyone, it is worth checking out. God has blessed this church and those in it. I can say this with all honesty as I am a living testimony to that fact. All I can add is that it's definitely worth your time to check it out for yourself. Glory to God.

  I have not been to this Church but I wanted to say to the review from Seekfirst Thekingdom, 1 Samuel 16:7 Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature... "For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart". John 7:24 "Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment". Luke 6:37 "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven". Not all men can look like the western ideal of the masculine man, but God sees his heart, and that's what matters.

  I rate this a 4 because of the people that attend are very nice and welcoming. Regards to the lead pastor…an adult man, let alone a Christian man, should not have a nose piercing and he comes off as a very effeminate individual Jesus was nothing of the sort, and man are supposed to represent Christ on Earth I know it’s now common for people to pay for bible school then preach, but that doesn’t actually make them understand the Word.

  I loved that there was music and singing for the first few minutes. I felt something different in my soul during my time there. I will be returning there again soon

  I had an incredibly hurtful experience at this church. My family attended Cariboo Road for 5 years and were involved with a life group and the children’s ministry. When the new Pastor took over as lead Pastor, he spoke hatefully towards the LGBTQ2IA+ community during his flagship sermons. When I raised my concerns in a heartfelt, respectful manner, I was met with derision and defensiveness. “I meant what I said.” - was his only response to me in private when I approached him after emailing to express the concerns on my heart. I respectfully emailed Pastor Mike a number of times to have a discussion, and was met with silence. Now recently, more than a year later, I reached out again in the hopes of having some closure. Always respectfully and with love. And the church continues to ignore me completely. I just hope no one else has this experience. I am thankful I know Jesus very well, and nothing can shake my faith. I know that the love of God extends to all people. Even if this love doesn’t come from the lead Pastor of Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship or his team.

  A very welcoming church. The preaching and worship is awesome and it is filled with many sincere believers seeking to get closer to Jesus and serve as his followers. There are no superstars here - only Jesus is lifted up.

  The Offering an amazing weekend! Friday was awesome!!! I got stuck at work and really wanted to be there tonight. My colleague and I put it on tv and 75% of the women and children were worshiping , dancing, we were crying… such a refreshing of the heart and giving to where I work. 💕 …

  I have been a member of this Church for the past couple of years now and the Ministry of this Church is amazing, very connected with our Lord and Savior. So many great events to chose from as well but most importantly, Sunday Service, Pastor Paul always gives us and delivers powerful Sermon's that teach us the word of our Great Lord Jesus. Also Friday nights with Pastor Bruce and Celebrate Recovery. What an amazing team of Leaders who gives us a safe place to work on our Hurts, Habits and Hangups. You walk in feeling unsure of life, and you walk out with a new perspective because God loves us all and with his true Faith, He will heal us. Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship is a Church that cares and is truly welcoming. God led me here and I am proud of every moment I walk in the doors. I have met so many wonderful people at CRCF Church and I am grateful to call them my friend and my forever family. It has changed my entire life for the better. It will for you too. Come see for yourself.
