Beautiful church in Cerocahui, Urique. This historic church is located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara, in the beautiful town of Cerocahui, and is the final resting place of Father Gallo and Father Joaquín, who died in the tragedy that befell them there on June 20, 2022.

This place is very beautiful; the walls are a meter thick, and despite the heat, it feels very cool. On the other hand, they sold this tourist spot to us as a major attraction in Cerocahui, and the truth is, IT ISN'T. I wasted my money because it's a town with hardly any people, and you can see a lot of poverty. The place is very pretty, but not for tourists.

Beautiful church in this town. It's definitely a regional attraction you shouldn't miss during your visit. Unfortunately, it was the site of three murders, but things are currently peaceful in the region. Visit this place and the hotel next to the church.

It's a beautiful place, worth visiting no matter the cost. It's a small place, the people are very friendly, the church is beautiful, the Hotel La Misión is beautiful—it's worth it, I recommend it. That's Mexico!
