It was still under construction, but the time we spent there around four hours was literally worth it.I can't wait to go back there once they have completed the construction. Totally a worth it, experience and the interiors, the statues and the idols are super detailed and rejuvenating.

Serene, beautiful and clean. a nice way to spend an afternoon up relax any meditate. The souvenirs (donations) are quite expensive but I can understand that it will take quite a bit to maintain the place and have it open for visitors

This is a new buddha temple and is still building more extensions. It takes about one and half hours driving from Toronto. Spectacular scenery, very nice place for photos and having fresh air. I thought the people there all have good hearts, however, one person (may be a volunteer) who worked there was so mean to us. My mom is a 84 years old lady, she wanted to go to the second floor by taking their elevator. That person refused our request and told us the elevator is for the wheelchair visitors only. I told her my mom couldn't climb too many stairs but the person still insist, she then said if my mom had no problem to come here which meant she had no problems to climb the stairs. Ended up my mom needed to stop three times and spent a good 18 minutes to climb the stairs to the second floor. It is a very bad and frustrated experience to us. 👎

Visiting the Buddhist Garden was a deeply moving experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. The quiet beauty of the space, the thoughtful design, and the natural surroundings all came together to create a truly grounding atmosphere. I left feeling spiritually replenished, calm, and more connected to myself and the world around me. It’s a place I’ll return to on a yearly basis.

Beautiful grounds and a lovely day trip. There is still quite a bit of construction but definitely still worth checking out. We would have loved a bit more information on the significance of each monument but also understand that this is also a place of worship.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place. I know they are still in the process of fixing the place, but hopefully, the next visit, they have proper washrooms.

Humongous place. It a resemblance of Wutai Shan in China. It is a long term project (40year total planning) There will be another 20 years to complete. We don’t fell much as a religious place because every attraction you visit they pressuring you in making donations. Lunch is also sold at high price. If you thinks of it as visiting a Wonderland or so then it is fine. Great place for a-lot of photo ops.
