  A great place to worship and learn about God's word. People are welcoming and friendly for you can sense a genuine love. People will learn and grow not just a follower or just a spectator but rather they emphasize on to love God and love people by molding you to become a deciple that cares about reaching out to other's who are lost and in need of salvation. They also emphasize about the word of God and not a water down preaching. It is a great place to other's who are looking for a church or a Christian community to belong with and everybody is welcome.

  They sent me a beautiful easy to understand bible by mail and the pastor prayed with me by phone. As soon as I get a car I'll attend to see how this church is. I would love to be baptized soon

  This is by far the best church in Hamilton. Growing up in a Catholic home I was sheltered from Christianity but as I got older I was able to understand more of what God has to offer in my life. Living Hope has a solid foundation of good teachings and knowledge for members and visitors. The pastors are wise in what they speak and the people there are giving back to the community around this city. I recommend this place to first time visitors as I was once in your position. Give this church a try and believe me that it’s worth it for what you will experience and learn. My life was changed forever and I am born again!

  Living Hope Church has 2 campuses. One at Garth and Limeridge rd West. This is where my wife and I go. The next location is on Cumberland Ave near Gage Park. Both locations are great and the ministry at Living Hope is diverse and amazing. They give away bicycles to those in need. They also serve the homeless at several different shelters by supplying their needs. Such as food, shoes, clothes, sleeping bags, Bibles, devotional tools, as well as much needed prayer and fellowship. If your looking for a church that is truly committed to following the word of God, and if your tired of other churches who like to pretend church, then Living Hope is where you need to be. We take the Word of God seriously. We encourage all believers in Christ to read the Word daily and follow the teachings of Jesus with care and truth. We believe that when a person has received Jesus as Lord of their life, that that person in Born Again. That means Holy Spirit lives inside your spirit. We encourage believers who have Holy Spirit to receive Holy Spirit. This is evidence by when a believer has received their prayer language, "tongues" and or when they "prophecy". If your reading this, and your not sure as to what I'm saying, or if you come from a background of church faith that does not teach or encourage the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, I completely understand your skepticism and disbelief. I too was like you long long ago. I came from a Presbyterian back ground when I gave my life to Christ in 1986. Our church believed in Holy Spirit, but when it came to Living our lives by being lead by the Spirit, they fell short. As I began to read more of scripture, the Spirit of God lead me to believe that all that is written in the Bible is true and for us today. Some people think that all that you read in Acts, Romans, 1st Corinthians, and so on has come and gone. But God was speaking to me that the Spirit of God is still among those who have a desire to deeply walk with God in the Spirit more, first and foremost. So if you need to know more of Holy Spirit, grow in faith and walk in the Spirit; and if you desire great Biblical teaching on Sundays and in our small groups called ,"C" groups or Connection groups, come and check out either campuses.   Just not for me. Great if you are comfortable with basically the whole church speaking in tongues, 'faith healing' of people who don't actually have known illnesses, 'prophecy' and loud showy music with flashing lights. The people there seem very friendly but they are all really into all of that stuff and it makes me really uncomfortable because it feels fake and predatory. Also they really seemed to be pressuring their members to give beyond what they normally would (for the offering). My inner warning bells went off like crazy. On the plus side they seem to have great kids programming and a nice cafe. But I need way more than that from a church.

  Got stuck here with an overheated car today (Aug 17, 2019). The parking lot volunteers were absolutely incredible and helped me to get water to refill my coolant so that I could get home! They were extremely kind and wished me well. Thank you for being an awesome community gathering with incredible people, helping those who attend and those who don't! And excellent example for the Hamilton community.

  Church feels like it's approaching the fringes of Christianity and is on its way to becoming more of a cult than a place of worship. I'd stay away. Speaking in tongues and faith healing are not Christian practices.

  Very very friendly. I enjoy listening to them outside in song. I go to two different churches and this one seems more down to earth. Pastor Mary is my favourite to listen to.

  My home church! As the years go on our church is pouring out to the community more and more! The pastors are amazing Mary and Jay!. It’s a Bible teaching church and I am happy that this is where God placed me.

  Excellent for old and young I've been going there for more than 7 yrs and I love it.There is cafeteria, dance studio babysitting and lots more u feel loved. Pastors are very inviting I love it.

  Protestant based Church. Although they deny it and call it non denominational. Was kicked out of the bible study after 2 years attending because i mentioned something the church does that contradicts biblical teaching. Website doesnt explain where donations are spent, only tells you how you can donate. Second person to be kicked out of bible study from same group

  4 years ago i started going here but i was judge by my C group The One Jennifer rolled her eyes at me thinking I didn't see it and they are very much so into gabbing about other people. (not in the nice way). This is the most judgmental C group I've ever came across (the c group with the two Jennifer's). I thank Yahuah for given me people that do not judge me!
