In the heart of Elora, Knox Presbyterian Church stands as both a spiritual and architectural anchor. Built of classic limestone, it mirrors the strength of the community it serves. What makes Knox special is its deep connection with nearby Presbyterian congregations — in Fergus, Salem, and the wider Centre Wellington area. These churches form a network of shared worship, outreach, and heritage, often collaborating on community events, charity work, and seasonal services. Their locations, often near rivers and crossroads, reflect early settlers’ vision — to build places of faith at the heart of daily life. Together, these churches map out a living history of connection and care across the Grand River valley. 🌿⛪

Beautiful town Elora. Especially at Christmas, it will be even more wonderful.

We recently held our wedding at Knox-Elora Presbyterian Church. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The space and surrounding area is beautiful. Reverend Clarke was great to work with and supported us every step of the way. She set a lighthearted tone and customized the ceremony to reflect our preferences. John played beautifully on the piano and organ, which made for a unique and personalized experience. Would highly recommend this church for any occasion!

I'm not a church attendee, however, I run the local Girl Guides and Knox grants us use of the space to hold our weekly meetings. Rev. Susan is kind, patient and truly goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, both in and out of the congregation.

Incredibly racist. Could not even step into the church without being stared down and given a “tour” since we definitely could not go into church on our own.
