If you want a church that is friendly and not pushy, where you are welcome to come as you are, that is not a social club but a place to come and worship God, hear the Word of God preached by a passionate Spirit filled minister, this is church for you. I’m not saying this lightly. During the greatest trauma of my life, I was prayed for, cared for, visited and fed by this congregation, some who hardly knew me. The pastor came daily, sometimes more, prayed with me, counselled me and sometimes just sat with me sharing my agony in silence. He, his family, and congregants would check up on me and walked through this time with me until I was able to heal. I know that my healing came from God but I also know that God used this church to show me how much I am loved. How much I matter to Him, and to others. Knox Palmerston cares not only for its own. They have a community outreach called TheLords Pantry that provides free meals for those who may be struggling financially, personally, or just lonely. During the summer they put on a great vacation Bible school, have free community events like hamburger day, bacon on a bun day, HotDog! It’s Autumn day, etc. This church has impacted my spiritual life immensely. I’ve grown spiritually. My relationship with theLord is the most important relationship I have. I live differently now because I know that “ church” as I experienced it as I grew up was not enough. Knox Palmerston is not about religion. It’s about finding peace in a challenging world, because the only way to find that peace is through Jesus Christ.

The minister at this church has a very profound faith. His energy is amazing! His family runs a fabulous vacation bible school program.
