Had this place recommended to me by a co-worker. Have to say it was worth the drive. All the volunteers are very friendly and helpful. Walked in and the smell of books is amazing (love that smell). Truly a hidden gem of used books. Though they do have a selection of dvds and cds puzzles as well! They take donations. I will definitely go back and donate my old books and pick up new ones!

Attention bibliophiles and bargain hunters: this place is a hidden gem! It’s not that hidden though as you can see it off the 115 with a clear sign “book sale Saturday 10-3”. There is ample free parking. Inside you have very friendly volunteers who will help you find what you’re looking for, or at the very least explain the initial chaotic layout, pointing out sections for various subjects and leaving you to your own devices as you peruse through the pews that now serve as bookshelves. EVERY BOOK IS $1! Books on every topic, for every interest, age level, and yes, they really are organized alphabetically by author. While walking around you can’t help but wonder how long it must have taken to organize the smorgasbord of books so accurately. The selections are current, and naturally, some outdated. I was able to find books that were on my Amazon wish list that easily go for $15+. In the basement there are more books. I was told that near the end of November there is a bazaar and then they close up for the winter and open again in April as it costs too much to heat the church. It’s a creative use of space and am glad I went. My mission now is to find the time to read all the books I bought!

Wonderful book lover find. Wanted to always check this place out finally got to and I am in love. Organized and so many great finds. You can not beat the price. Reminds me of an old antique shop for books. Absolutely will be going back.
