I haven't had a chance to go inside. It's small, in keeping with the size of the town. Its design reflects the style and materials of the region (adobe and plaster) and it's well-preserved, at least on the outside. Update: Since I wrote this review, the church has been remodeled inside and out. I was finally able to go inside, and the work is still ongoing. It was built in 1940, according to a plaque on the roof. The park caretaker told me this. Remember that Hipólito was founded in the late 1920s.

Holy Week from many years ago, at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe, protector and patron saint of this community and the Ejido of Hipólito, Coahuila; I hope you remember what so many people and families experienced during the Holy Weeks when we had your company. Amen.

A very conservative place. Very much like the town, quiet and peaceful. A good place to visit.
