I appreciate you stationing people at the Market Square Kingston - where we had a nice discussion last Saturday - to argue with passers-by about religion - you provide an important service to the community. In terms of understanding essential scientific, theological, and philosophical concepts you are way ahead of JWs, Muslim preachers at country fairs, and at least half of Mormons. You need to work a bit on your epistemic humility - the fact that people just as intelligent and informed as you disagree on the meaning of the Bible is a rather compelling indicator that the meaning of the Bible is not as clear as you think. I was disappointed by your rejection of evolution and by your belief that Adam and Eve were actual people. Evolution is a well established theory with a lot of predictive validity and it it fits well with other findings in biology. You definitely need to work on this. I recommend reading Jung's "Answer to Job". You seem to be half-way in agreement with Jung even if you deny it - perhaps reading this work will take you the rest of the way. As to your suggestion that intelligent aliens (should there be any) do not have souls strikes me as a very dangerous direction of thinking. I would urge you to give this matter more thought. Unfortunately I cannot give you more than three stars on account of your rejection of evolution. On the other hand, you do handout bottled water to passers by in hot weather, and they do not have to listen to your message to get the water, you are just offering it freely. I totally agree with you that this is a good thing to do. So that brings it up to four stars.

Had a great midweek visit with Pastor Kevin, learning about the ministry and history of this newer congregation that meets in downtown Kingston.
