This was hands down the most unfriendliest church I have ever been in. Positively frigid. My step father and I visited the Sunday after Father's Day and arrived to a very limp damp shake and a mumble from the ummmm......greeter. From then on no one spoke to us. One of the leaders greeted the people in the row in front of us, skipped my father and I and then promptly greeted the people behind us and went on his way, We were next to the aisle- surely he knew we were new, Nope, completely ignored. The sermon was uninspired and dry and kept referencing a man we didn't know. On the way out we tried to smile at people but nope - stone cold. Not one person spoke to us or greeted us besides Mr. Mumbles. It seems more like a cult than a church

I have been attending Desert Stream with my family faithfully since 2013. DS as we lovingly refer to it as, is not just a church, it is a family built on Kingdom values and Kingdom living. The leadership is humble, the worship team is incredibly gifted and the church body is friendly,l and inviting. I couldn’t ever see us attending any other church.

I felt so uncomfortable in this place. Their greeters never greeted me once, I had to say hello to them to even get a slight response. I sat down, never to be talked to once, except talked about when a lady was mad that I was sitting in “her seat”. Then the church environment seemed to have more emphasis on current issues and discussing them rather than Jesus. It felt more political instead of being Jesus focussed, like I assumed it should be. I will not be attending again.

I just called and spoke to one of the pastorss I believe Kevin God used UVC and God prompted me to call and speak to Kevin. I’ve been attending CR for the past 11 months, I attend a biweekly Womans bible group , and for the first time I’m reading the bible . I work front line social services for the past 4 decades , I got biten by a tarantula in Santa Rosa while I was staying in a Mayan village doing Gods work , while I was there I was a victim of a scam , I’m embarrassed as I work closely with law enforcement and veterans and everyday heroes my dog ( Gus) my partner ring the love of Jesus like a tsunami, he’s travelled to Ottawa , Victoria , Belleville, Kingston , Toronto I called Desert Storm although they are closed I need healing prayer , God is my healer on top of everything else Igor instructed me ti call my old colleagues as he had been telling me I’m not depreseed

I've been attending this church my whole life. The pastoral staff is great, the congregation is wonderful, and I appreciate that they teach directly from the word.

My friends and I love attending this church. I attend a different church on Sundays but my friends attend DS. Whenever I am at DS it’s like visiting a second family.
