We had a wonderful stay at Henry’s Log Cabin. It was everything we were looking for a nice escape from the city. Henry greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. He was kind, sweet and very polite. He’s very proud of his property and it shows. The cabin itself is extremely cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed walking around the property and discovering all there was to see.

The cabin and land was idealic. Even had homemade cookies under a belljar upon walking into the cabin. Henry was warm, welcoming and easy to get ahold of, sharing in the little details that added to the hospitality of the land….rasberries from the garden. Enjoy a warm morning with a cup of coffee or tea on the front rocking coach listening to the birds looking onward at the lake and lands… a swim in the private lake, waterwheel, bonfire under the stars. 5/5 would highly recommend.

We had the best time at the Cozy Cabin. Thank you to Henry and Marilyn for going above and beyond to make our stay fun, relaxing, and perfect overall. If you're considering a visit, I wouldn't hesitate. It's completely worth it. There are 3 cabins to choose from and each one has its own charm. My favourite was the largest cabin because it has everything you could need for the perfect getaway: cozy loft to sleep, a wilderness inspired kitchen, and of course a fully equipped washroom as well. It works for all seasons. My group and I were having so much fun playing music on their CD player...dancing...cooking...living life! You can do everything you want on their estate. I would often go read a book or do some yoga. And the highlight was definitely the campfire. There's a large fire pit where you can sit and enjoy the moon, stars, and the reflection of nature on the water. Honestly, I could go on and on... Best of all, Henry and Marilyn are the most fun and authentic people I have ever met. They have such a charismatic energy and will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. I promise you'll enjoy and laugh a lot with them. I'm so addicted to the experience they offer...and you will be too! The best hosts I've ever met! Cheers to them and to their cozy cabin! I'll be back before they can even say "COZY!"
