I've been attending Connexus since it started and have loved every minute of it! I've invited many friends and they all speak so highly of how welcoming everyone is, how non-judgmental & relevant the teaching is and how it's nothing like they expected a church to be. My husband and I have found some of our greatest friends through Connexus small groups and can't wait to watch our kids grow up in the amazing kids ministry! It's definitely worth checking out :)

My Husband and I came to Connexus Church 7 years ago and have never looked back. The people are so warm, friendly and have we have never felt them to be judgemental. The music is upbeat and really the band is fantastic! The messages have very enlightening and encourage you in your faith as you develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or whether you are exploring Faith for the first time. This church family will never make you feel uncomfortable or that you don’t belong. We highly recommend Connexus! It is a church for everybody. Oh and the children’s programs are fantastic! Well organized and lots of activities and teaching from kindergarten- high school. Always excited to see what’s new at Connexus, you won’t be disappointed!♥️

This church changed my life. Grew up not going to church but had always been curious what it was all about knowing that having a positive spirituality and community connection are healthy (and an inkling that there must be an intelligent designer out there). We decided to go with friends of ours to check it out and wow, what an amazing job Connexus does. Amazing caring, talented staff. Great environments. Uplifting messages that are practical and positively address tough issues. This church has certainly made my life better in so many ways. Thanks Connexus for what you have done for me, my family, and continue to do for our community.

We absolutely love Connexus. The music, the atmosphere, the volunteers, the children’s programming- Everything is so well run and organized, everyone is so friendly and you feel welcomed the moment you enter the parking lot! So grateful we found such an amazing church.

I was invited to Connexus by an old friend five years ago and I have been attending ever since. The community I have found has been such a blessing to my life. I would recommend this church to anyone; if they are new to their faith, been a believer for years, if they are young, if they are older, if they have children, and if they want to attend by themselves. Not only have I grown my faith but I have also had the pleasure to help others discover their own. Connexus is a blessing to my life. 10/10 would recommend!

Connexus Church has been a place I can call home since its inception. Walking in to the facility feels like a breath of fresh air, and undoubtedly the best way to start my week. From the moment you enter the parking lot, you feel part of the Connexus Community, a community which encourages, cares and supports you in your walk in faith. The music is outstanding and the messages each week feel as though God is reaching directly into your life. I can honestly say I love my Church!

We love this church. The people are very friendly and accept you for who you are. The kids ministries are high energy and very welcoming. The music is great and last but not least, the messages are timely and applicable to every day life. Connexus is also great for getting into the community and meeting people where they are at.

Connexus is different from other churches in the best way possible. From the parking lot to your seat, you feel welcomed and accepted. Their kids program is also amazing. My daughter (6) is excited to go every Sunday. Come grab a cup of coffee and see for yourself!

Even though we lived west of Toronto we would come up to visit my parents on the weekends and have attended Connexus since its launch. Our teenage kids at the time used to love coming with us, as well my 85 year old mother. We moved up to Oro-Medonte three years ago and it was wonderful to know that we already had a church we both loved. The small groups are an important part of our lives and really helped to connect us in community when we first moved up here. Our kids are now adults, married with their own kids, they still come to church with us. The music is inspiring and uplifting, the teachings are always right on!

I have always felt the most community and connection possible at Connexus! I have met some of my best friends in the world here! I love that the goal is to create a church for the unchurched, which is absolutely true. If you like great music, great environments and helpful messages, you will LOVE Connexus! They also host live online, so if you don't live in the area or aren't quite comfortable yet, you can always attend online! Love Connexus!

I want everyone to experience Connexus. The messages are relevant and applicable, the music is powerful, and the children's ministry is exceptional. There is no detail that has been overlooked - it is a place I am proud to call home. Bring your coffee, walk through the front doors or try it online. You will feel this place alive with wonderful people and incredible love. Hope to see you soon!

Connexus has been our church family and second home since the opening. Our kids are growing up in this church and we can’t rave enough about the kids program. We enjoy being a part of the volunteer team. Being a part of a growing church with innovative and responsive leadership who seek to glorify God is such an honour and a gift!

My family and I began attending Connexus just months before Covid began. We have been impressed with how the church has transitioned to online only. Most of our family members are in online groups and feel very much a part of the church. I have especially appreciated the online lessons and interaction for my kids. They don’t ever want to miss. Thank you Connexus for your heart to reach people who need Jesus.

We've loved Connexus from the first minute we walked through the doors. I have never felt so welcome at a church before. I can be myself and I don't have to worry about anyone judging me. My kids love it to and have made some amazing connections with their small group leaders.

My experience at Connexus Church has been great! I started attending just under a year ago. I was welcomed right away into the Highschool youth group (Inside Out) where I have developed many friendships and connections. Connexus’s Sunday morning services are well thought out and always keep me interested and engaged. I especially love to watch their music productions.

I love being a part of Connexus! When I first started going, I decided to join one of their small groups and found it was a great way to connect with others. More recently I have been volunteering which provides more opportunities to meet new people. They provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for adults and kids alike. Come check it out!

Connexus is truly amazing! Over 10 years ago I walked through the door of Connexus not knowing who God was. They welcomed my questions and skepticism, and helped me understand God’s unconditional love. My life has completely changed! Thankful for their investment in my life and so many others. They are definitely FOR the community.

I am new to Connexus and to my journey with God. The Connexus team has been nothing but extrodinary. I feel welcome and loved whenever I enter the parking lot - not just the building. Sir with the Mickey Mouse hands, keep doing you! Always makes my day! I cry every service, and I couldnt begin to tell you why exactly, but I know part of it is because I am meant to be there. The Connexus community is kind, giving, welcoming, loving, understanding, helpful and so much more. If you are looking into starting your journey with God, new to the Barrie area and need a new church, or whatever your reason for looking at these reviews may be... I highly recommend coming to Connexus and seeing for yourself how amazing this church is. You wont be disappointed!

Started attending Connexus when my young children didn't want to go to "traditional" church. Now they are young adults and still attending! Truly has impacted our lives and awakened our faith to be active in our real life. The music, messages and community groups apply to the real world. So grateful they were prepared to be church online for adults, young people and even kids during these COVID days!
