Lovely place. Hard to believe but do see and hear for yourself, the lovlier staff. I have had some bad church expierences. Please do ensure utmost of care and of staff. Some christian charities are harming the christian faith and peoples amongst other threats.

An oasis. Especially in these times. The philosophy and approach dovetails exactly with the tenets. There is St Mathew house, adjacent which is a warming centre and food provider for those who are homeless. I have not attended Church is a very long time. Read a book on Christian Nationalism, how in some quarters the spirit has been distorted. This Church, in comparison, is the opposite, it has a great philosophy and a great community outreach. I cannot speak more highly of the church and the staff. They are a living example of the way things should be. A unique treasure to ALL the people of Hamilton. Bravo.

Definitely worthy to visit, very well maintained and full of history. I visited on James st Art Crawl event, and where classical music and free tours.

A gem inside Janesville. Gorgeous architecture, very friendly welcome team (we visited during the supercrawl), and a brilliant idea to add the photo exhibition, as well as the strings orchestra. It instantly transposed us to Europe, it felt like a one hour vacation.

Lovely inclusive church in downtown Hamilton This Anglican church knows how to treat ALL people regardless of race or sexual preference. All (supposedly) Christian churches should take notes from Tim and his team

This place is stellar! I believe it is mainly to help the homeless. However, although my husband and I are not homeless we did need help during the month of May because we were having trouble with my husband's OAS cheque. They fed us (their food is awesome) and they helped both us get our ID together. They are very respectful and treat you like a person.

I've only been a few times to the drop in/day program for homeless that offers food/refreshments and a space to cool off or warm up. I liked that there was washrooms available, staff were happy to charge my phone for me and in a safe spot too, and I was able to stay dry during a rainstorm one occasion and cool off during the heat wave on another occasion. Though I only came a few times I was quite disappointed that there was no vegetarian-friendly/non-meat option for food and I was unfortunately given just a dinner roll with margarine on it. I mean, at least it was something. I was just so hungry though but they did offer me extra granola bar and some much needed hydration. It was nice just to have a place to relax and chill for a bit instead of walking nonstop in the harsh weather exposed to the elements , which always leaves me exhausted, I actually was so tired the first time I came I accidentally fell asleep siting in my dining chair oops! at least it wasn't like anywhere else I've fallen asleep due to pure exhaustion where I just get booted out and harassed by security guards etc. So that was appreciated. And like I said they charged my phone for me. I haven't been for awhile, it's been at least a month but my opinion so far is positive for the most part and I like that this (fairly) new program exists now and is a welcome and definitely much needed addition to the available services for people in need especially homeless in our community in downtown Hamilton. Thanks for what you do.
