Visited for my first Sunday in Abilene. Music was great, the Pastor does a great job, and the place feels warm and inviting. The congregation seems kinda quiet and only the Pastor really said hello to me, but I'll be back each Sunday as a Lutheran. It's good to find a home away from home (Colorado).

I showed up the church early for the 8:30 service unfortunately I didn't know it was Feed the Children Sunday. Pastor Keischnick gave us a tour, ( myself and a family who just moved to Abilene from Florida) and made me feel at home,.....as if though I've been there on my life. An absolutely wonderful church and congregation it makes you feel like family. The way of church is supposed to be. And what they were doing for feeding the children,?! 3000 boxes of food going out too hungry children. If that doesn't speak of what Christ wants us to do in this world I don't know what does. Encourage everyone to visit this church at least once and you will not be let down. If you're looking for a church Zion is incredible. If I were to move to Abilene, this is be my home Church no doubt about it. God bless you may you have a beautiful day.

I love Lutheran churches because they almost always have strong music programs, and Zion Lutheran Church is no exception. The facility is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the sermon was an outstanding combination of Law and Gospel. If you're looking for an LCMS church that is in line with the Lutheran confessions, look no further.

Its amazing and the youth group is fantastic. Its a medium sized group where it is all about God. Very active group of teens
