  After getting married 8 years ago, my husband and I couldn’t find a home church. We tried everywhere from Westlake, Lakeway, Bee Cave, and nothing felt like home. We finally tried Zao and walked out knowing that we finally found that place. A place where my faith could grow, be baptized in front of my kids and start to serve. My children wake up and ask “is it church day today?” Where my extended family now goes too. Zao has created such a foundation for our family to put Christ first. To grow in our faith and to raise our children in the word. I am grateful to feel comfortable, loved and supported. Our middle daughter had to have open heart surgery earlier this year and I’ve never had more people from a place join in prayer, reach out and surround us with so much love. Grateful for Pastors who follow biblical values and have built such a special community for our family! We love Zao Church!!!

  I genuinely hope that the heart and leadership of this church changes in the future. I know and trust The Lord will work all things for His good. I have met life long friends and will not ever regret the time spent at Zao. However in an effort to be transparent there is a problem with leadership within this organization and that always will trickle down. My purpose in this review is that leadership will set aside pride, look inward, accept responsibility, fix the “culty” culture they’ve created…. If not that then it makes the next person church shopping take a real hard look at who is leading them before diving all in.

  We love Zao Church because the people are so welcoming and want to honor God with their lives. Our kids love it and my husband enjoys the men’s Friday mornings. I went to a women’s night, and everyone was so welcoming. It has only been around for a little over a year, and it is neat how much it is growing. Great high school Wednesday night ministry too. When you visit, you will be welcomed with smiles, great music, teaching from God’s Word, caring kids’ ministry, coffee, donuts, and a fun environment for the kids to play after church. There is farm animals too. Welcome to Zao!

  After attending our first service, we knew Zao would be our church home in Austin. We have been a part of the Zao family for over 9 months now, and we LOVE it! It is such a warm, friendly environment. The people are amazing and we enjoy doing life and serving with them! Zao is truly gem and a wonderful place to grow your relationship with the Lord.

  Zao Church is a great Church to attend in the Texas Hill Country. There are a lot of committed Christians who really love the Lord and are serious about making a difference in this world. Lots of friendly people of all ages attend Zao Church. The worship service is amazing and the Pastor's message is always down to earth and very encouraging. Lots of love and friendly people.
