I felt judged and extremely uncomfortable at this church, even by one of the pastor’s family members. For Christians to accept all people from all walks of life, this was disheartening to feel, especially coming from a Wounded Warrior. How do you pray for someone you do not know, but judge them once you see them? I will pray for yall to learn acceptance of all people without judgements due to how someone else may appear and present themselves.

I recently attended a church event with some of the parishioners. All of the people were kind and welcoming.

Good experience. The stage seems to be small but the atmosphere felt great.

This church preaches love, peace, unity, and humility, and they also practice what they preach. They don't just speak the Gospel, they live it.

We've attended this church for about twenty years. Our sons loved the children's department and then were really involved in both the middle school and high school youth groups. We love the teaching from the pulpit and we all attend Sunday classes as well. We love our church and there's a very sweet fellowship here.

This is a great church, no question about it. I felt very welcomed here. They are a warm and affectionate bunch and make you feel like you really matter. Wayside Chapel is deeply rooted in the Word and their doctrine is truly Biblical. Senior Pastor Roger is a man of God. The associate pastors are likewise. The church offers many ministries that one can partake in to serve the body of believers or community at large. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a church family.

My husband and I started attending this church almost 4 years ago before we were married in the singles department. One marriage and one baby later we still love Wayside and still feel like we fit in. Roger, the pastor, is possibly my favorite pastor I've ever had. He is a humble, wise man, very knowledge in history, theology, and people. Wonderful children's program, too. A great mix of all kinds of people.

Nice looking Church but the members for the 9:15 a.m. service weren't really outgoing or inviting to guests. They only walked around and talked to members they knew. It was very disheartening to see from a church that should embrace everyone.

All the way from the top of leadership through every member on staff, the love for Christ is apparent. The church has a palpable outreach. They are integrated into the San Antonio community and it doesn't stop there. The leadership is transparent with how, through the church community, funds are appropriated to missionary fields all over the world. Truly a "hands and feet of the Lord" church. Such a blessing to be a part of such a great, well grounded church.
