I am so disappointed and livid about our experience at this daycare. Before enrolling, I explained that my 2 yr old is autistic, has issues with textures and he’s non-verbal. I explicitly explained that he will need help eating the few foods that he does actually eat. (As a mom to an autistic child, you know exactly what info to give potential caregivers) It was agreed that I could send his own food and everything would be okay. They were aware that his therapist would visit him at the daycare during lunch time, soon. How convenient that it wasn’t until the 3rd day of attendance, I was informed that they would not be able to feed him and he has not been eating. Refunds are not issued after attending at least 3 days. So my baby didn’t eat anything but crackers after being there at least 9 hours a day, they tell me this on day #3. Although, the director was apologetic, the damage has been done and I’m out $180 that could’ve went to a daycare that will actually make sure the babies eat.
