Moving from California to Texas has made me ever-so-often homesick & this temple has been the closest feel to family, tradition, and culture! I love that every year for Laos New Year there is always great food and energy to share with my family! Parking is quite pricy during the new year but to be expected to help grow the neighborhood as it is nestled in a very Asian enriched area; be prepared to respect the Temple and its surroundings!

A great festival to celebrate. The Thai food was everywhere..! If you've never gone I'd recommend visiting and enjoying something different.

This was such a beautiful temple! We came for Laos New Year and there were so many people. I would love to come back for one of the other festivals to see how they decorate.

Celebrating LTC new year here this yr after it being halted for 2yrs and it was worth every dollar here. The temple itself is large and can hold a great amount of people with parking around it. Please remember that this is a place of worship/alms giving for many people so if you enter a building; please take off your shoes. Don't crawl or climb on the statues or buildings. Be respectful around the elders for they hold many years of love and wisdom. The crowd was very respectful and the food was good with great vendors. Great place to visit for Buddhist followers.

I really do wish I lived in Texas so I could visit the temple as often as possible. I have family that lives in the area that goes on a weekly basis. I brought my father's ashes here to be kept & we had such a beautiful ceremony for him. I cry every time I think of the generosity & kindness of everyone, even people who didn't know him showed up to show their support. Makes me so proud of my Asian heritage.

Came today for the Lao New Year festival (day 2 of a 3 day weekend event). Entrance fee (temple donation) was $5 a person. There were many booths mostly selling hot food and drinks, fruits, clothes, and small knickknacks skin care products. 2 live stages had different bands performing concurrently so was chaotic but otherwise everything seemed under control. It was sunny in the low 80s so the many umbrella covered eating tables were a welcome sight. The main building of worship we visited today is serene and mostly vacant, with 2 monks on site to bless the parishioners in a water and bracelet ritual.

Religious place of worship. Being around this temple brings me inner peace. The Monks are present, and if it's the right time of year, there will be festive events going on all around the Temple. I visited for Laos New Year.

We visited for the Laos new year festival. Good food and people greeted us at the gates. The parking is available through residents charging $5-$10.
