This is a response to a review by Darien Johnson: Greetings Mr. Johnson, Thank you for visiting our church and for taking the time to share your experience. We regret to hear that your visit did not reflect the warmth and hospitality we strive to extend to every guest. We are intentional about creating an atmosphere where everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and loved—just as Christ instructs us to “be kind and compassionate to one another” (Ephesians 4:32). We will follow up with our greeters and ushers team and take a look at our security cameras to review your concerns on the day of your visit. Our worship service is both Spirit-led and rooted in the Bible. We are a church that worships God in Spirit and in truth according to John 4:24 which tells us God is a Spirit. Throughout Scripture, when the presence of God moved, there were moments of visible and powerful encounters. In Mark 1:23–26, a man cried out and convulsed as he was being delivered. In Luke 13:11–13, a woman bound for eighteen years was set free and began glorifying God. We know that Jesus himself came to set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18). Deliverance still happens today through the power of the Holy Spirit. We agree that “all things must be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40). As we were singing and worshipping on the Sunday of your visit, the Holy Spirit began to move. As you noticed, we didn't conduct an altar call or ask people to come up for prayer or deliverance. It began to authentically happen by the power of the Holy Spirit. This was an unpredictable moment, yet when it did occur, we believe it was appropriate to treat the individuals with dignity and respect -- to not cause them embarrassment or judgement. When people respond to the presence of God, we minister by praying, providing biblical insight for unbelievers and new believers if it is confusing, and leading with wisdom and discernment to flow with order in obedience to God. Lastly, we believe in honoring God with our appearance. We have a standard for our leaders to dress modestly. Consequently, we understand that people who attend church are at different stages in their spiritual growth. As Christians mature, the Holy Spirit gently shapes our character and even how we present ourselves—leading us toward holiness only through His grace. We pray that the members of our church will honor God with a heart posture of reverence toward the Lord, because the Bible reminds us that “the Lord looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). Our role as a church is to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God and allow His Spirit to bring transformation from the inside out (Romans 12:1–2). Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your zeal for righteousness. Though we differ in our views regarding what happened in our worship experience, we take your concerns seriously. We are praying and seeking the Lord as we endeavor to be in His will. We encourage you to pray against offense, hurt, and disappointment regarding your visit (Matthew 18:15-17). We believe in the ministry of reconciliation according to 2 Corinthians 5:18. If you’d like to talk further, we’d be glad to connect personally. Our prayer is that you and your family continue to experience God's presence, freedom, and truth wherever you worship. Expect to Triumph, Walk in Victory! Overseer AJ Monterio & Pastor Angelique Monterio Victory Worship Center "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:57

Me, my wife and daughter went to this church today because we’re looking for a church home here in San Antonio. When we first walked in, the 2 ladies only greeted me and my daughter but not once acknowledge my wife. I had to greet my wife to them (which of course as a husband, we suppose to do anyway but still, them not acknowledging my wife shows disrespect , jealousy and also adultery on their part). But inside the congregation, the worship was really good. But after 3-4 songs and 30 minutes later, there wasnt no preaching still. I’m like ok, I see what this church is about . Then a lady had uncontrollable broke out shaking on the floor during worship which disturbed me and my family. THAT IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF GOD. The Bible teaches us that one of the fruit of the spirit is SELF CONTROL. after that incident, I’m like ok I’ll let it slide just this one time but me and my family was already disturbed after that and was no longer engaged in the service. Then 15 minutes later , another woman uncontrollably broke out shaking as if she was having a seizure. Falling all on my daughter and wife . Not only was that rude , but THAT WASNT THE SPIRIT OF GOD. That’s another spirit that crept into the church to deceive and keep people in bondage. Also the immodesty is very bad. Women were wearing tight pants that reveal there shapes. The men weren’t dressed properly either . This is a lukewarm lip service church. You guys need to REPENT!!! And worship the lord how He wants to be worshiped which is in spirit and in truth. Not the way you guys feel is right. God is not honoring that church. Come out from amongst them and be ye separate saith the lord!!!
