I got saved at this church when I was 17 years old. The pastors and people in the church disciple me. There is new leadership there and the heart and soul of that encounter I had is so very evident. A true church of the Lord Jesus and an amazing Pastor! Recently I got to preach there after 28 years after I got saved. It was awesome. The people loved me and my family well.

VLC has been such a blessing to us. Ever since we stepped into the church we were showed the love of Christ. Pastor Z is a true Man of God, Pastor,Leader,Friend,Brother ,very encouraging and an inspiration. He definitely has love for the people. I have been going here for a little over a year and I came from some church hurt!! I was so hurt i didnt think i could overcome!! God has stretched me and grown me. He has set me free from so many things. I lost my son going on 3 years now and upon coming here I had blamed myself and I wasn't able to filter all the what ifs and to grieve!! Since being here I have been allowed to grieve! God has shown me that I matter and that I have a purpose and just like an onion seasons food. VlC has helped me be seasoning to Ppl and to ministry here! The people Here (my friends) are real! From the Pastor on down to the leaders and with God they have helped me to be more confident in who God made me!! I realized God dont make junk!!! I am free and I know that I have a purpose and a gifting and at VLC they help cultivate what God has planted in Me!!! Real people just loving on Jesus and the Hoky spirit!!!

VLC … There are no words to truly describe how profoundly my life and the lives of my family were transformed ! Here is where we all encountered the Holy Spirit . You know it is a truly special type of anointing in a place , when my children ( aging form 30 to 16, want to be in. Service. Our pastor has a servant heart and leads like a true Shepard . My life and ministry were renewed here and for that I have to tell everyone ! We love all people, we want you saved , The Lord will surly do the rest Amen. ALOT of bitterness and resentment from this church. I am now 45 and still hurt from the memories. In my later years I was treated as an outcast and never accepted. On a side note I do remember some people who impacted me for the greater good. But in later years it became a church and that tried to copy Brownsville. I have since found renewal and newness in the Lutheran faith.

My family and I went for the first time on Sunday and we are in love. You can feel the jolt spirit in the room. The people are so friendly, and the dress is super casual. We felt so welcomed and can’t wait to go back!

Very nice church building where we attended a conference at. The area right up at the front for disabled parking was fantastic and right at the front door. One of the days we attended was during inclimate weather. They had umbrella covers to keep the building dry. The chairs we very comfortable, especially when one had to sit for long periods of time. All of the people there are friendly and willing to assist any needs. Excellent church facilities.
