Read this before you go to this church!! Me and my wife and my kids decided to give this church a try living in Waxahachie. Being our first time, usually the Pastor greets you and introduces himself and welcomes you to the church that did not happen! But what really got me and my wife and what sealed the deal that we will never even look at this church again as as we were sitting down during service and they were passing around the bowl for tithing you can usually tell when someone’s ready to give we weren’t digging in our pockets had nothing in our hands in the gentleman literally shoved the bowl in my wife’s face no exaggeration. Not to mention, my son is 16 years old and he shoved it in his face as well. You don’t shove a tithing bowl in anyone’s face. That is very disrespectful. If someone wants to give, they will let you What? know very clear that they want to give not to mention at the end of the service. The pastor said way to go team. Whatever that means what happened to traditional churches where the music was really good and there weren’t so many lights shining in your face, and it was a traditional worship of God and if you wanted to tie, the bowl wasn’t shoved in your face. I will make sure to let Anyone that I know in my neck of the woods to not waste their time going here very disappointed.

Best church around. Pastor Brian makes the word very relatable to today's times. The atmosphere is very open and non-judgmental. Sermons tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. If the truth is what you are after, this is the church for you!

My husband and I have recently visited the Vertical Church in search of a place to worship. This church has a message and God's Spirit is so evident. My husband and I have struggled finding a place where we feel fed not only by the word that comes across the pulpit trough the Pastor but also by the Spirit. Loved it ! The first thing I saw was a little girl no more than 9 years old raising her hands and worshiping without fear of being judged, again I loved it! So if you need a place to worship come join us at the Vertical Church in Ovilla, WE. my husband and I will be going back!!! Thank you Vertical Church but most of all thank you Lord!!!!
