How many you walk into this church you will feel loved and welcomed. Our pastor is absolutely amazing. He really has his hand on the pole when it comes to knowing and loving Jesus Christ. He is a spiritual leader for sure. Very grateful to attend such a powerhouse. If you want to experience the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ come and join us for a church service here at Valley Creek. you’ll be happy that you did.

Love Valley Creek. Walking into Valley Creek Church felt like home. My wife and I absolutely love the people and what they represent.

They have a whole cafe where you can purchase drinks and pastries, no free coffee but no big deal. The weird part is you cannot take any drinks or food into the sermon with you. I had just bought a coffee and had to throw it in the trash. They have a table as you walk in where people even had to put their own personal tumblers. I have been to lots of churches and always welcomed to take my coffee (with a top) in with me. Felt unnecessarily restrictive and honestly that’s part of the experience that I enjoy, sipping coffee and journaling during church. That just set the tone off wrong for me. There was very little life lesson preaching. Lots of focus on donating. Still searching for a church home but this wasn’t a match for us.

This church has changed our lives. My wife and I both grew up in the church but coming to Valley Creek, gave us a whole new revelation of who we are, who God is and what we’ve been created for. The truth that the more we focus on Jesus, the more clearly we see everything else in our lives has been transformational. And this church has been an incredible resource for our kids. Valley Creek puts a huge emphasis on the next generation and our kids are growing up in an environment where following Jesus is normal, it’s fun and they are empowered to bring the hope of Jesus into their areas of influence. My kids believe they are leaders in the Kingdom now, not just when they are older. Thank you Jesus!

Loved this church for a couple of years but decided this church is too comfortable allowing their audience to comment aloud after EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE from the pastor. Not even exaggerating that part…EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE!! This past Sunday will unfortunately be the last time I will be attending this church. I find it immensely rude and distracting when that one person with too much enthusiasm can’t help themselves but to say “yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Oh yeah, c’mon” after every sentence. In the most distracting way possible , as if he wanted the entire church or pastor to hear him. I could see how annoyed other viewers around him were starting to get but of course, in such environments, most would just let it slide. Truly the most annoying thing I’ve ever came across in church and so surprising that no employee tried to have him be more quiet. This is the first church I’ve ever been to where the audience consistently interrupts the mass with their unnecessary hype or comments. If I can’t peacefully sit there to actively listen to the pastor without also waiting to hear for the next “yeah!”, then clearly this is not the church for me to attend. I can’t stress this enough, this is truly an Americanized church environment. Will be trying out different churches around the area where hopefully the listeners take this one hour more serious, as they should.

I enjoy this Church alot because the undiluted Word of God is preached and Pastor teach us how to put the Word of God into practice because it's in the doing the Word of God that we receive all the blessings of Jesus Christ ❤️

Just had the most heartbreaking encounter at this church, and I am still trying to process the fact that this actually happened. I am going to preface this by saying that my husband and I have been coming to this church and serving for over a year. We absolutely love the messages, but something occurred that concerned me deeply. I had a medical issue, leading me to need to exit the auditorium during worship as people were coming and going, filling in seats. I was gone for 5 minutes, and as I was walking back in a lady rushed toward me, blocking me from the door. She asked me where I was sitting, and I told her that my husband and I were in corner seats, in the middle section. She then cut me off- insisting that I do not go in, and after I prompted her as to why- she asked me if I would consider sitting alone away from my husband. I was very confused at this point, and told her no, because this is my weekly time with my husband where we encounter God together. Not to mention that my bible, journal, and cell phone were all at my seat. She then proceeded to guilt trip me and tell me that it was very distracting for me to return to my seat. Now- if you have ever been to valley creek it is extremely dim, and we were sitting in an end seat so there was no need for me to squeeze through a row. Nonetheless, she continued to insist that I sit away from my husband, and unkindly mentioned that it was my fault for leaving the auditorium even though it was an emergency. She got very close to my face to the point that I had to put my hand up and ask her to please let me back in. After begrudgingly agreeing, she said she would walk me to my seat. She also went on about how I was wasting time when she is the one who rushed over to stop and speak with me. I am so so concerned about what this encounter would mean to someone who does not know Christ yet. I know she was doing her job- but who is implementing these micromanagement type policies? Last week pastor John preached about God opening the door so that He could come in. How ironic that this lady quite literally tried to close the door on me and keep me from God's word. I know that Jesus would not keep anyone out of the auditorium. We are people, things happen. It was a much bigger distraction for this lady to guilt trip me for needing to step out for a brief moment. His invitation is to let us in, and this interaction would have propelled me in the wrong direction if I was not previously someone with strong faith. This is so utterly distasteful and uninviting and I urge whoever is in charge of these policies to please be in prayer over them.

I've been going to Valley Creek for about 14 years now. I've had the privilege of watching it grow from 1 campus to 5, with plans to open 2 more. Not only have we grown physically, we have grown SO MUCH spiritually! Our series right now is about becoming disciples of Jesus, and what that looks like. God has used this church and its people to help me heal and grow. I've had so many life-changing experiences here, and I'm so glad God led me and my family here. 🙏❤

Never thought I’d be a church person especially at a big church but VCC changed that! Everyone is so welcoming. I never felt the hypocrisy here like I did when I was “church shopping”. Yes, it’s a big church but there are so many ways to connect. You can become as involved as you want or be as anonymous as you want. The messages are relevant and teach you how to get closer to Jesus. You leave refreshed wanting to spread hope and joy! The church loves on the community- serves in so many ways. There is no pressure/guilt to become a member or donate. Great kids, teens, and adult programs. Lost? Lonely? Broken? Come see…there is always HOPE!

I absolutely love this church. The preacher is just so gifted in his preaching. He is very down-to-earth,easy to understand and always has such an amazing message to share. This is my favorite hour of the week, is coming to Valley Creek. The music is always also fantastic. I feel at home here. And hardly ever miss a Sunday of going to Valley Creek .

I have been attending VCC now since 2013. I’m so thankful for the teaching and discipleship I’ve received. Pastor John has truly been gifted by God to deliver deep messages in a very clear, concise manner….full of God’s truth right from the Bible. If you are looking for a Jesus focused, spirit filled, life-giving church, then look no further.

I have been a wholehearted part of the Valley Creek Family for 18 years! It is truly a Jesus-focused, spirit-filled, life-giving church! We are focused on understanding who we are in Jesus, experiencing God’s presence, so we can go out and serve out The purpose God has for each of us in the world. Life is so much more meaningful when you know what God created you to do!

This place is amazing! You feel welcome and like they truly want you to be there from the moment you step out of your car. The campus pastor will even offer to take you to lunch once he's had the chance to meet you. Take him up on it!

I really enjoy this church. We especially love the children's ministry and programs. The kids have a blast and they have fun lessons about their faith. The leaders in the children's ministry really care about my kids. Pastor John is a great speaker and delivers sermons with substance and humor. The people in the congregation I've talked to are all very friendly.

Valley Creek has been a breath of fresh air. Church leaders who love God and love people. They have clearly thought through all aspects of church, from Sunday services to helping members throughout week. From promoting a healthy midweek venue for youth to gather, to feeding the poor at their Outreach center. Pastor John brings a terrific word of instruction and encouragement. You are greeted like family, head there and enjoy.

Your church should be ashamed of itself. Treating people with babies as if they’re disrupting the entire congregation. Those types of “policies” are far from Christian. Your description saying “everyone is welcome” is a bold lie to be advertising. If you’re late, you are NOT welcome and will not be let in. If you have a crying baby and step out for a second, you are NOT welcome and will not be let back in. Even if your entire family is still in the sanctuary. I’ll be letting everyone I know to bypass your place as a “church”. What if that very moment was the last time someone had to find Jesus and you turned them away? Yeah, certainly not Christian behavior.

Gifted worship team and biblical teaching in the perfect sized church. Very friendly people who seem genuinely happy to welcome you. Reminds me of Gateway in Southlake but better because it's not as big and the teaching is more in-depth. The messages we have heard so far have been very good with lots of Scripture. They don't pass an offering plate either. We have been looking for a new church for a few months and after visiting Valley Creek Flower Mound several times we believe we may have finally found it. Not too big, not too small, no celebrity pastor, just good biblical teaching, great worship and joyful people.

I wouldn't even know where to start this review except by merely suggesting that you check it out for yourself. I have grown up going to multiple churches including many different denominations, but have never had a more positive experience than Valley Creek. The pastor, the messages, the child care, music, and I could go on are all simply amazing. Most important to me though is the diversity and lack of judgement from every single member and group I have ever been a part of. I simply LOVE this church and plan on being a Hope Carrier for years to come!

If you are looking for a baby friendly church this is not it. I have a 6 month old and heard great things. My family and I decided to give it a try and the band was AMAZING. Towards the end my son got a teensy bit fussy so I walked out with him to walk around to be respectful. When I tried to go back in they were talking to another family with a daughter about the same age as my son and I could hear a lady that works there telling them they were not allowed back in because of their daughter and how it can be “disruptive at that age”. I overheard everything and was already upset hearing this and as the lady was trying to see where I was sitting I tried going in myself and she would not allow me back in. I was very upset at that point and asked if I could go in and get my fiancé as he was in there by himself. She did not allow me to do so and her and another man that works there had to go in and get my fiancé for me and we just left. Very disappointed especially being that it was our first time going to a church as a family and I had such high hopes. Will not be returning.
