This was the very first church I entered upon moving to Austin, and I cannot express how blessed I am to have found this lovely community of faith. UCC has served as one of the capstones of my life for the past couple of years, with its beautiful music, friendly congregants, and compassionate leadership altogether demonstrating the fullness of God's love and grace. Verily, this is a safe and joyous place; a place I am proud to call home.

An older church with a traditional service, wonderful choir, and friendly congregation, but with many modern innovations like using a QR code to donate or register attendance. Located just south of UT campus. If you aren't familiar with the Disciples of Christ, they originated in the United States, and have no creeds except devotion to Christ, so no one will tell you what you "have to" believe. They take communion every Sunday. I like the freedom of belief this denomination offers. I attended here when I was a UT student and would probably still go there if I lived in Austin.

My husband and I did premarital counseling with Reverend Megan Peglar here. I highly recommend her. We also visited the church for service. Both Megan and the assistant pastor were great. The church is very welcoming, and communion is open to all people.

I have not actually attended mass here, but the Church itself is a very welcoming environment and is on a central place on campus that allows students to easily integrate worship into their everyday lives. They occasionally hold outreach events to try to expand their membership or spread their religious message.

This is a gorgeous building in which makes people feel peaceful. Its existence makes UT-Austin students feel positive both for their academic and daily life. Every time I walk through this church, I can amazingly get rid of part of the annoyance in my mind.
