Such a great church home. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The service is traditional but the message is always current, something useable in life. There are multiple opportunities for involvement in classes/studies, outreach, or just socializing. It’s a great place!

As always, Aldi has amazingly low prices. Cashiers are quick and friendly.

This is the sweetest place and our daughter absolutely loves it! She adores all of the teachers and Miss Diana and Miss Z! The love, care and attention they give the children gives you so much peace and comfort as a parent. You know your child is truly loved at TLCC!

TLCC is wonderful. The first day I walked in and hung out with the ladies in the crawling room..it felt like my grandmother's house. I was almost in tears when I left because I was in the middle of a bad situation in another daycare. My daughter started a few days later and she loves it!! She squeals when she sees her teachers in the morning and is so happy. They shower them with love and affection. You wont find a better place.

Trinity Lutheran Church is an ELCA church. Services follow the red hymnal service order. Two exceptional pastors support worshipers, friends, and visitors. The Senior Pastor, Dr. Kendra Mohn, is a PhD graduate of Bright Divinity School in Fort Worth, associated with nearby TCU. She is an exceptional teacher and pastor. Her sermons teach and inspire. The Associate Pastor, Pastor Matthew Schroeder, is in his early years of his very promising ministry. He encourages and fosters participation by young adults, parents of young children, youth of all ages including preschoolers to university ages, and mature worshippers. His sermons are instructive and inspiring. He brings 21st century opportunities to our worship, fellowship, and social activities. Music is varied and inspiring with an excellent volunteer choir, handbell choir, marimba band, and volunteers who share their musical talent on instruments such as cello, saxophone, clarinet, electronic musical instrument (EMI), harp, and vocal solos. Music is led by Cantor Dr. Laurence Naughton-Furr and the marimba band is led by John Hopkins. Sunday school classes are varied and inspiring for preschool to mature learners. Several class choices for adults discuss Bible studies and issues and concerns for learners in various social and biblical studies. Outside speakers and experts often augment the regular class studies. On Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. a Kyrie/Pub Church at Shaw's Patio Bar & Grill on Magnolia Ave. welcomes worshippers to fellowship and socializing in a non-traditional and non-threatening forum. Wednesday evening Dessert Church attracts worshippers to a full meal topped with delightful dessert choices (s'mores, pies, cakes, etc.!) for fellowship and socializing! Worshippers have choices of multiple committees and social groups including support for aging concerns and families with health care and social needs, dinner and "eating" groups, and a monthly night of games and fellowship with friends at the Presbyterian Night Shelter, and many other groups. Trinity Lutheran Church is currently on track with a capitol campaign to upgrade and expand useful space for expanding and growing ministries. The membership and financial life of this church is strong and growing. A preschool is associated with Trinity Lutheran Church. Our granddaughter attended this school and is successfully ahead of her public school kindergarten class, thanks to exceptional teachers (Miss Celia, Miss Illy, Miss Michelle, and others). Excellent teachers, staff, aides, and volunteers are supported and guided by an award-winning director, Miss Diana. Pastor Matt's ministry supports the staff, students, and parents. Multiple opportunities are available for people to worship, enjoy fellowship, and socialize, and to share a great meal! All are welcome and expected at the Lord's table to worship with friends and a truly "welcoming church family".
