  I absolutely love The Well! I’ve been coming for about 2 months now and the community and Pastors could not be any more amazing! When I first visited The Well, I was automatically greeted by Pastor Al and Postor Alex along with a lot of amazing people from the congregation! This church is such a close community and super friendly! The sermons are Bible based and are verse by verse teachings! It’s hard to find a church that doesn’t fall into a norm of what every other church is doing and The Well definitely set apart! I love this church very much and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a home church that’s strictly Bible based!

  Excellent Church, The Well is a Smaller Christian Church that focuses on staying and teaching verse for verse in the Bible. The sermons are very indepth and the worship before and after the sermon are always very deep. The close knit community and one on oneness at The Well is a plus as well. If you're looking for a more mature church to deepen your walk with Christ and not just a hobby on the weekend, this is the one. God bless!

  I've been at and known the Well Community Church since 2015! It's a wonderful Church built upon Jesus and His word and it hasn't stopped since it started! My family and I have been connected through a Community Group and Discipleship Group and we feel right at home! Christ-centered teaching, Spirit lead singing, and Missionary-minded individuals is what describes this church best!

  We have had a great experience at this church! Everyone has been so welcoming, they preach through the bible which is important to us, and the kids program is a great blend of fun for the kids and solid bible teaching. Definitely recommend checking it out!

  The Well has honestly been an answer to prayer for me. I’m a pretty shy and quiet person, but from my very first Sunday people have introduced themselves, remembered my name, and continued to greet me every week. That might seem small, but for someone like me who tends to stay in the background, it has made me feel genuinely seen and welcome. One of the things I appreciate most is how Pastor Al and Pastor Alex walk through the Bible book by book and verse by verse. The teaching is clear, faithful, and easy to follow, and it has helped me understand scripture in a much deeper way. I really value knowing exactly where we are in the Word each week and seeing how everything fits together. This church truly feels like home to me now. I feel comfortable, cared for, and part of a real family, even as a quieter person. I genuinely look forward to Sundays, they’ve honestly become the highlight of my week.   I watch The Well via YouTube and have had many interactions with people who attend, including the pastor who helps train my kids in jiu jitsu, as well as several of the coaches there. Every single person I’ve encountered has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and understanding—especially when it comes to being a parent with children. They are patient, supportive, and genuinely care, which really says a lot about the heart of the church and its leadership. Even through watching online, you can feel the sense of community and authenticity. If I lived in San Antonio, The Well would absolutely be a church I would attend and feel comfortable bringing my kids to.

  I enjoy the Sunday sermons, it has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The elders of the church are very approachable. I like that it is a family oriented church and many are young families, so fitting for my young adult son. Thank you for all your teachings and guidance for my family ❤️

  When my husband and I found The Well we knew it would be our home church. The pastors only preach Biblical TRUTH and somehow, Pastor Al always manages to make us laugh during his sermons. If you are someone who struggles to understand the books of the Old Testament, Pastor Al’s preaching (as well as the reading materials The Well makes available to us) will help you comprehend the scriptures as written in it’s time and as it applies to our modern day! We also needed extra support for our son who has Down Syndrome and the church was patient with us and helped us come up with a course of action for our little guy. This meant a lot to us because while other churches may have entire ministries for children with special needs, our pastors were willing and able to help create something that works for everyone! Now that’s servanthood! If you’re looking to grow as a Christ follower, look no further than The Well, we’d love to have you!

  The Well is an incredible church. Pastor Al’s biblically-routed preaching is exactly what we, as the body of Christ, need. Not only is he an excellent communicator of God’s Word, but he’s also been - to me and my family, personally - a wise counselor and friend. The worship is also fantastic!
