If you are looking for a place to be ACOUSTICALLY ASSAULTED by a rock show sound system that serves to overpower your voice, the Holy Spirit and discourage fellowship, congratulations, you've stumbled into yet another Austin "church". But fret not, they do provide a bowl of free earplugs! Otherwise most Austinites should feel at home with its orientation to dance-on-the-line between Austin's Keep it Weird woke culture and that of a godly one, so I am told by some of the greeters.

The Well Austin is where I found home. If you come here you’ll find a great community who truly shares the love of Jesus and welcomes you with open doors and arms. I haven’t found a church like the well before in my life and I’m so glad this has been the first place I came across since being in Austin, God truly moves in this place!

Reflecting on my review from two years ago, I remember expressing concerns about representation for the 50+ age group. It’s been a beautiful journey, and I’m thrilled to share that I feel genuinely connected and at home here. My age group is “ well” represented. (see what I did there) 🤓🥰 I have found a community here. I am proud to say there is a place and space for me. If you’re searching for a sense of belonging, I wholeheartedly encourage you to come and experience it for yourself. I’d love to connect… find me, and I’d happily treat you to a coffee! ☕

Wonderful experience when we were visiting friends in town. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. It is a gospel centered church that strives to practice what they preach and its evident in the different facets of their ministries and services. They love people well and do a great job of teaching and encouraging spiritual growth outside of just sundays as well.

We have attended church there several times when visiting family in Austin. We have felt very welcomed each time. Different people have made it a point to greet and connect with us. The preaching is some of the best we've ever heard- so insightful, interesting and inspiring. The worship teams are talented musicians, the music is fresh and focused on worshipping God! We now listen to the sermons online each week!

I was visiting in town and looking for a place to worship. I read many reviews of various churches in this area. All had positive and a few negative. What set The Well apart from others is they are the only church that responded to their reviews. That, to me, show they really care! They were thankful for all reviews and offered blameless apologies for the negative. I wasn't disappointed. Anointed worship and edification from the Word. Very friendly and IF I had been more engaging I feel it would have been reciprocated but it was I who was in a hurry. Whether you are visiting or a resident, I recommend The Well for your consideration. Thy Word is Truth and you will find it at The Well!

Have attended this church 5 times and i love it! My grandsons who are 6 and 9 and have never been exposed to Christ except for what I've taught them have attended Sunday school 3 weeks in a row now and are enjoying it..praise God🙏 also..my daughter who is 28 has been going with us and every Saturday evening she texts me saying "mom..we're going to church tomorrow, right?"

When I moved to Austin two years ago, one of my goals was to become a member of a church for the first time in my life. What I didn't know was that God would use the people and sermons and leadership of the well to deeply develop my interest in the hard topics of theology and show me what true community (and therefore, membership) looks like. The Well is a small glimpse of our future eternal home.

Honestly I felt very welcomed...until I didn't. I was approached as being new, asked about joining different groups, meeting new people/making new friends after the service. Sermon was great! Service ended. Same people that approached me completely ignored/acted like they hadn't just talked to me an hour before. I'm saved. I've done church. I started going again for a safe environment to meet new people with the same values. Sad this turned out colder than a bar hangout...

I visited this church while traveling to Austin from Nebraska. It was a great experience. The people were very welcoming even though I was only visiting the city. The music was really good and I was invited to join people for dinner after church. These people are doing the Jesus thing right.
