I spent a night there years ago and I had a really bad experience there. A woman in the cot next to mine talked all night THEN a second time when I was going to stay there, men outside the salvation army were hitting on me. And one guy who was nice enough to give me a ride there, we will call him James, was naked from the waist down and playing with himself with one hand and eating taco bell with the other. They don't know how to treat people who have fallen on hard times. AND they certainly do not know how to treat a woman of the church of Christ for 18+ years serving the Lord. When you have fallen on hard times, your first thoughts are having a roof over your head. And with me, my case is completely different because God saw to it that I have wisdom and knowledge to search for jobs, and fill out a resume, and go to interviews. Not everyone's case is the same and they need to be able to adjust themselves to each and every individuals needs and not force you to learn how to do things you already know how to do and we're taught by God how to do for wisdom and knowledge come from the Father above. It's not nice to belittle people or Matthew 7:7 Pass judgement. For it is written do not mock the Lord thy God. What happened to respect, compassion, love, understanding, nurturing, caring, and encouraging. Once you learn how to ride a bike, you never forget how to ride. You just get back on a horse if it bucks you off. AND if it's one thing I can't stand is arrogant, rude people disrespectful to me and impugning my integrity. That is not CHRIST like.

There is absolutely no accountability at all between anybody in that facility. I don't understand how or why but nobody holds themselves accountable for anything. Please do not go there if you want to move your life forward stick around somewhere make some money and pay for a place to stay it's going to be hard it's going to be tough but it's totally worth it. Please don't stay somewhere where nobody is holding themselves accountable for anything.

Such amazing case management for the CSRC program. The current officers; the McKains, have been such great spiritual leaders. They strive to follow the mission of The Salvation Army; spread the gospel of Jesus Christ without discrimination.

This is by far the worst experience I ever had. They treat people there like inmates. I checked myself out because this case manager who really doesn't deserve to have that title was judging me making me out to look like a criminal. Not only that but they are absolutely rude. They are pretty much telling people that they can't have friends or even really conversate because it's fraternizing which violates a humans first amendment right!!! Let me tell this salvation army something. You call yourselves a Christian ministry but don't give people another chance. God gives people redemption. You guys need to be ashamed. And crystal black raven I have a message for you. I do not care if you like me or not. Be in their shoes. You don't need to be a professional to make a change in someones life.

You are required to vacate the premises from 7am -7 pm. If u have children that get out of school at 3-4 pm. There is no where for u to go until 7pm. Hope u have a friend or family near by which I highly doubt since u are staying at a homeless shelter.

Food served had mildew on it. Can't stay in room during the day even if you work. Was sitting outside the shelter because I couldn't stay in my room until I went to work at 1 was told I couldn't even sit outside of the shelter on the bench. Not from here so don't have anywhere to go.

This location provides Veteran Services. I'm helping out with free resume building on Tuesday and Thursday between 6-7 pm strategies of local jobs and important methods to follow for successful hiring even if you just got out of prison, etc.. . .After today, September 24, 2024, Crystal the Manager told me my services were no longer welcome and this guy at the front was like 950 pounds and I'm only 95 pounds he was degrading me, then I stood up to him like David and he ran inside!

Only given 1 star because there is no zero option, my brother needed a place to sit and rest and they called the police on him for criminal trespassing. Apparently they have no sympathy for developmentally challenged

They call them salvation and they are the only shelter for the loss and the broken that just need some place safe and warm or cool to stay till the figure out the next move but yet they kick you out at 7am and then Lock the doors until 430pm and if you happen to walk in if the doors are open to use the restroom they tell you no and then call the cops and have you band for 90 days knowing you have nowhere to go and they charge these people 8 dollars a night yes that's reasonable to people who are working at the moment but not to the ones who are trying to get back on their feet ugh makes me so sad the way they treat others as if they are better or above them if you are going to call yourself salvation army then give them some kind of salvation!!!!! People have lost compassion!!!!
