I remember visiting this church circa 2017 or 2018 or maybe 2019. There were maybe fifteen people in attendance. Two of us were visiting, we both stood at the call for first time guests. The pastor said thank you for coming and to I want to pray for ya’ll, she walked up to the other guest but didn’t approach me. Odd and performative. I should have walk out at that moment but I sat through the rest of the sermon. At the end of the service the person ushering, a sweet girl was trying to stall me as I was walking out. She told me the pastor usually speaks to our visitors after church welcoming them. She signaled the pastor to us as she was talking to the other guest. The usher continued to small talk and the pastor looked our way and then turned her back to slowly greet another family. Signaling she had no intention of speaking with me. The poor usher tried she apologized for “Shepard” of the church getting “caught up” which was really intentional. Remember there were twelve members in attendance, I counted. She dismissed and excluded me on purpose. The usher thank me for coming and invited me back. That would be an absolutely not! Thank God for protecting evil hand laying. Here it is 2026 I never thought I would still think of this negative feeling leaving a church but it was so distinct. It’s been years since I lived in the state. The feelings never go away. You never know what’s behind the veil of the pool pit. And as far as women pastoring…true nature is always revealed, jealousy is an illness that must be cut off at the root. As a women I always gravitate to women as leaders especially in spiritual matters but that day made me reconsider 1 Timothy 2:12. There are many reasons why God only lets some tend to a small flock because others could be led astray. Others like one who walks in to a “sanctuary” with a generous spirit and years of service looking for a new home to devote to but took her blessings right out of the door. I will say the worship leader was anointed an amazing singer and drummer. Peach and blessings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who is coming back soon.

I love this church!!!! Dr. Carson takes the Bible and breaks it down so I can understand its true meaning. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. If you are looking for a church, this is the place to go.
