An interesting place to visit if your traveling in that part of the country, a look back on a pivotal part of local Texas history you can see and touch. Not far off the main road, just a short drive or ride depending on your mode of transportation. Take great pics, and feel free to go inside and appreciate the craftsmanship, sign the guest book and leave a small donation of your able.

A favorite photographers destination. The church sits out away from the town and shares space with the cemetery. Both professional and amateur photographers love to visit this location. The church is maintained by volunteer church members as well as the cemetery. Please be mindful of the property and treat it with respect.

Very interesting experience. It was a very beautiful church with a rich history. My main interest was the fact that it was supposedly haunted while nothing strange happened while I was there the atmosphere was strange. Once I entered the church the atmosphere felt different, I don't really now how to describe it but it was weird. I mean other than that it was quite the normal church. Very beautiful.

Quaint beautiful, gorgeous church. Throwback to your grandmother’s church feel. Just stunning.

A serene country church that stands alone on a rise, The Rock Church (the original St Olaf's) is a testament to those who came to Texas and made their way as Texans, but held onto the importance of their past. It's quiet and peaceful and gives one ample space to appreciate life and offer thanks for the blessings that have come.

This is a very cool church for astrophotography. You must call and receive permission before going on the property, but the people who run the property are nice. Try not to get freaked out while you're standing in the middle of the cemetery at 2:00 in the morning...
