My daughter is new to Austin, a student at UT, and currently searching for a local body. We visited the ROCK ATX this past Sunday. We were overwhelmed by the love we were greeted with from the door to our seat. This was definitely much-needed in a new city.

Great teaching there and the love is real there too!

This church has given me a brand new life- literally. I have never experienced love, community, knowledge, and growth like I have in my 2 years being here. Looking at other reviews, it sucks that one experience with an over protective member has turned people away, because that doesn't reflect the spirit of the body. If you are curious about God, Jesus, Christianity at all (I came in an atheist), I highly recommend just stopping in and really listening. Your life will never be the same.

One of the best churches I have experienced. You know when you’re trying to find your home church and get close with God, the ppl of the church hinder you from seeking the word. But not at The ROCK ATX. The church is a family, one unit; filled with kingdom citizens and makes everyone feel welcome with no judgement.

What can I say, there is no better place of worship than The ROCK ATX! I “grew up” in church and it wasn’t until I attended The ROCK that I was able to finally understand the Bible, have a loving community of Kingdom-minded individuals and truly have a personal relationship with God. If you are missing any of these components in your life, I highly recommend that you pop in for a visit… you won’t regret it!

I love this church and Dr.Moody! The way he teaches you the Word of God is truly eye opening. He is very transparent and encourages you to learn the Bible and build your own personal relationship with God, as it should be. The people who make up the congregation are wonderful people as well! If you haven’t been here please come you will NOT regret it, your life will be changed for the better.

I was just yelled at that I was “on church property” while walking through the back of their field with my dog and told to leave. Sir- church is made for community and fellowship. My dog and I weren’t bothering anyone, and you should have signage and a fence if you don’t want people walking through, especially when the property borders a neighborhood park. This was not Christian behavior. This was not warm, this was not welcoming. This was stingy, cold hearted behavior and you should be ashamed of yourselves. It’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get to heaven- and y’all seem far too concerned with your property to be representing heaven.

Want answers about God, the bible and their importance to your life? Well this is the place for you. Pastor Moody's messages are like medicine, not always easy to take, but exactly what you need. His straight up and often humorous style of storytelling will have wondering where he's going, but leave you with a clear biblical understanding in the end. If you need further clarification, you can ask him directly during the Q&A session after the message or his meet and greet for visitors. Bottom line, for true biblical interpretation that's not watered down, there's no better place.
