We called the church ahead of time to see if they offered any assistance, (we need help with diapers and things for our children right now) and whoever answered the phone said yes, and to go over there, then rudely hung up. We don't have a vehicle so my boyfriend walked a mile and a half over there in this awful Texas heat. Once he arrived they informed him that they offer absolutely no assistance whatsoever to anybody. NOTHING. AT. ALL. I've never encountered a church that did absolutely nothing for the community. Welp, Happy Sunday, y'all. Make sure to donate your hard earned money so this church can line their pockets.

Me and my wife started going to church services at promise land church 5 weeks ago. And it's been an amazing, awesome experience. The pastors are so loving and really teach the full gospel of Jesus Christ in a real easy understanding way. Tonight pastor Rudy spoke a sermon on distractions in our life. It was an awesome sermon. Alter call was filled with the holy spirit as Jennifer Alonzo prayed over me and my wife Naomi. I really felt the power of the holy spirit upon us as Jennifer prayed for us. I just thank God for leading us to this great Christian church. Praise God thank you Jesus !

How disappointing how much a church doesn't feel the need to help out community. First, I call this church to see if they could help my family out (I called because I have to walk there, I don't have a car at the moment) and a random guy answers by saying "Hello? Who is this?" I ask if this church offers any kind of donation assistance (I have 3 under 3 and another that's 15). He says "Yes, we're in church." As I'm asking another question, he HANGS UP. I walk over to this church for more answers, and I'm greeted with the news that they do not in fact offer assistance to anyone, they used to have a food pantry but don't anymore, and they have no clue who I talked to. A church that can't help the needy? For shame.

The people are friendly, excellent music and teaching was directly from the Bible. Service was in Spanish and English!

Unfortunately I visited for the first time for a funeral. But the spirit was really high and members were very friendly.
