This church’s teaching is top-notch in reference to the reformed viewpoint. Although this is not my personal family church, it’s teachings through its Biblical Theological Equipping class has greatly expanded and improved my understanding on common themes. Our family moved to McKinney and were looking for a new church to attend, which can be a truly daunting task. A friend told us about Parkway so we decided to visit. In a matter of a few short months we have joined a small group, made incredibly close friends and are being taught in-depth, unapologetic Bible based theology in the Sunday services every week. The church has an incredible history and tradition dating back over a hundred years but there is also a freshness and excitement among the people here. Like our family, a lot of the people we’ve met are fairly new at Parkway but we have also become incredibly close with some of the families who have been there for years. Whether you are young or old, black or white, have a family or are single…if you are looking for a humble and honest group of believers to fellowship with I would encourage you to visit and see for yourself!

The lyrics of one of my favorite hymns was changed up (hate that) and sometimes (for only some songs, but enough to be noticeable) they consistently sing wrong notes on certain lines in songs I know the actual notes to. I used to loudly sing the correct notes but I gave up and just hum them now I consistently try to avoid the greeter because I don't feel comfortable full on clasping hands with someone I don't know The food events are good

The Good News is faithfully preached here. Pay a visit and meet some great people. My daughter and son in law go here and once we move, I'll probably be there too!
