Been coming to this church for a year now, and it’s enough for me to now call it home. Never in my life have I felt so welcomed into a church where everyone there treats you like family. Plus, the worship team is top notch with an incredibly talented team of musicians (with one of the guitarists being one of my old friends from a previous church we grew up in).

I moved 4 years ago from NYC and I was looking for a church and searched for a while. One day a friend of mine invited me to a woman’s service at The Light, from that day forward I knew in my heart this was the church for me and my family. The presence of God is felt at The Light. We love the atmosphere and we love our pastors Ron and Ava Bates. ❤️

I highly recommend this church to anyone visiting or living in this area! We are visiting in the area for a month. I was invited to Radiance women's fellowship gathering. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The Pastors wife's message was encouraging and uplifting as well as challenging. My husband and I have gone every Sunday and are treated like part of Gods family. What a warm, welcoming church body! I love the kids standing outside on Sunday Mornings as greeters with signs. The pastor is anointed and preaches from Gods word. His messages are clear and easy to understand. The praise and worship team rocks! If I lived here this would be my church home. God bless this church and grow His kingdom.

Really solid bible-based teaching. Energetic and genuine worship experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and the people set you at ease and are very accepting. There's a great children's program and youth program. It's a nice sized family-friendly, relationship-driven group of people. Two-thumbs up!

Loved this church as a teenager. I made many friends and felt very at home every time I attended a service or event. I moved out of town 6 years ago, but attended a couple of Sunday’s while visiting family for the holidays this year to find that even though the church has increased in size, the feel is very much the same as I remember as a teenager. The congregation responds well to the sermon. The worship is wonderfully organic, but led by a strong and talented worship band. The church has many active groups and events, year around, for all ages. And some of my favorite things about the church are the families that put it together. Pastor Ron is one of the greatest ministers I’ve ever heard, and he is greatly complimented by his wife, son, and daughter, whom all play big roles as church leaders. Michael Pape, and his family, are gems in the Christian community and are on the front lines of the battle for Life and Truth, everyday. I encourage everyone to attend a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening. God bless!

It was our first time to go. The main pastor is funny and relatable while being able to get the message into the hands and hearts of the people. The kids were in their own classes with very friendly volunteer teachers. Childrens program seems great, my kids enjoyed it. Standard "non denominational" band/ music. I am not a fan of this format or music but they weren't bad at all. The music is the same as any other non denominational church... a concert. The people were very friendly and welcoming and engaging without being pushy or making you feel like the awkward new person. A medium size congregation.

I’m a little uncomfortable contributing to the star rating of this church but it would have been helpful for us to know this before we visited, I’m sure you can go on their website and see this information but we didn’t because someone we know recommended this church. We won’t be returning because they have women “pastors”. Biblically this is unsound and we don’t want to attend a church where a very blatant biblical teaching is not followed. It was also very light and bubbly and we’re looking for serious teaching and opportunities to grow. The announcements were very “goofy” and felt like they were speaking to the audience like they were idiots, more like a kids VBS than a church of adults.

This church is the real deal! True to the Word, relational, transparent, loving, spiritually healthy and friendly. Truly the list could go on. They are Jesus' hands, feet, and mouth pieces. And you couldn't get any better leadership, their hearts are on fire for the Lord!

Went years ago and got pulled away because the daughter's husband's family wanted to go somewhere closer to Conroe. The job situation stopped that as well as the family stopped going to church so I went to Family Faith for the last few years. After the "Scamdemic" shutting churches down I started watching Ron again and wanted to visit.

If come to this church you will not be disappointed. Pastor Ron and Ava Bates are the best .This is truely a very good church to worship the lord....The kids light is the best .Mark and yvonne runs the kids light and are the best ....so come out i promise u will love the church and the people....
