  Historic African American Church in Missouri City, Texas. With a variety of activities and more than enough parking, this is a great place to worship in Southwest Houston. There are two amazing twin receptionists who will provide you with warm smiles as well as a warm reception.

  The place of refreshing, and where no one is a stranger. I’ve grown so much spiritually, personally, and professionally since joining and I look forward to being in this place each and every week. There’s no shortage of anointed pastors, ministers, deacon(ness), and prayer warriors ready and willing to intercede and bombard heaven on your behalf and preach/pray the house down at any given moment. You can worship freely and truly come as you are because you’ll never leave the same. So come, because the Holy Spirit will surely be present.

  I visited The Fountain of Praise today for the first time, and it truly blessed me. I was just scrolling through Google looking for a church, and something told me to stop on this one. The way I ran to shower and get dressed — I knew it was meant for me to be there today. The message came from Mark 5:1–20, and it spoke straight to my spirit. It was all about not giving up, trusting God’s timing, and being in your right mind — even when life feels like it’s closing in.
