very disappointed , my husband & I have been looking for a new church to attend with our one year old. The door had been on our list for a long time so today we decided we’d give it a try. We walked in with good intentions excited to hear the word of god in a new environment as soon as we walk in it already was not very welcoming & when they saw our 1 yr old we were told about the nursery right away not a single hi or welcome , we politely declined & continued to go be seated & walked into a wedding ceremony which we already felt uncomfortable because we weren’t sure if we were walking into something we weren’t supposed to but we sat down & waited patiently. After the wedding ceremony they started service. Our one year old is of course somewhere new so she saying “ whats that “ & pointing just being a baby , new surroundings , new people around her . She in no way was being a distraction or being loud & for a 2nd time a woman approaches me about the nursery again we politely decline . Towards the end my husband just decided to walk to the lobby with our 1 yr old because we feel uncomfortable & judged & another woman approached him says she’s been watching us from a distance & offered the nursery AGAIN so he decided to go see it & asked if he can sit with our daughter in there because it is our first time there we don’t know these people or anything everything’s new & they told him no. So we decided to leave , was not a very good experience

I visited this church four months ago, I did not know anybody but after a while I’m making good friends in here, they bring me closer to Christ. The atmosphere is so welcoming!! And the Holy Spirit is in this Church, I felt a good change in my own personal life after coming here.

I always have a great experience here! Pastor Rubí has a proven ministry and has a Heart for souls. He’s not like a pastor who I have tried to speak with in previous churches that would look down on you. They carry themselves with a celebrity mental but Pastor Rubi is very humble. When I spoke with him, he encouraged me on some things which I really appreciate because he took the time to listen and not cast you off. They hold their SOUTH TEXAS CONFERENCE here and its POWERFUL!

Every time i step foot in this church It’s like I’m stepping into an atmosphere where the presence of God is felt. Isn’t that what we go to church for? From the praise, to the preaching, and the people everything about this church makes me think of the book of Acts. This is a church you want to be a part of! If your seeking to learn more about Jesus and If your looking to know where Jesus is at. This is where you want to be.

It seems like this church needs a congregation. Im not really am not a church going person or very religious But the fact remains that I don’t want your flyers or anyone near my car. Market your church however you want. But there’s no need to touch my personal and private property by leaving your church flyers in random parking lots. In today’s digital age, there’s no need to canvas and scour parking lots touching people’s personal property, creating needless trash. Secondly, not everybody goes to church, especially because I’m not going to pay somebody for what should be free. Spirituality can be found within, & if you think you’re supporting your church by giving your so-called tithing, you’re not doing anything other than supporting somebody who is a scammer asking for handouts. Let this be the last time I see your flyers on my car thank you.🙏 Thoughts and prayers.

Hello, I attended The Door on E. South cross today. I explained to the sister I am passing through I would eventually like to go back to Pastor Rubys church in the future, because she asked me a few questions. I was told to go back to Pastor Rubys church by the Pastor, then he said now we are going to ask you to leave with me and my children present. My 3rd time I attended service. Wow!!! I want the congregation to know I prayed today before this incident for Gods will in this church and not mine. Wow!!! Prophetess Edna I want everyone to know what happen to Salvation?

I attend The Door CFC on the Southside of San Antonio. We came to this church because we were in Conference. Such a great church with great Pastors. It's very beautiful inside too.
