I’ve been a faithful member of this church for more than a year and was really pleased overall with the word of God being preached but eventually I noticed serious problems within the fellowship. It’s almost as if there’s a legalistic condemnation way of preaching here and it’s like you leave doubting if you’re truly right with God. They really emphasize the alter call and you get a sense of judgment every time you raise your hand to go and repent. They offer you a card to put your info and name after you repent but eventually they will come to your house uninvited offering to ‘check up on you’. They also preach heavy on tithing and will say things like God will place a curse on you if you don’t tithe. They preach holiness but one day I found beer in the kitchen and witnessed another member drinking during set up for their Saturday night concerts. Also they will keep texting you making sure you come to every service and if you don’t they will assume you are backsliding. I don’t doubt there’s genuine people here but these have been just my experiences.

This church was once a strong foundation in my salvation, but recently I’ve begun to seriously question what’s happening here. I reached out to leadership in El Paso—not out of rebellion, but because I’m not a blind follower and needed clarity on several concerns that were happening in the Springfield Oregon church. Despite sending both texts and emails to El Paso and Prescott leadership, I never received a response or any follow-up. Because of this lack of transparency and accountability, I ultimately decided to leave the Springfield church. I later came across accusations involving the El Paso church related to financial and insurance matters, which helped put my experiences into perspective. It became clear why my concerns were never addressed—it’s easier to dismiss people as “rebellious” than to explain questionable practices. This situation is deeply disappointing and embarrassing for the leadership involved.

I am soooo picky! But this church is legit and preaches according to the Word of God. I love their weekly events, too. They are involved all over teh world. I can actually pay attention during service. It's amazing. Come dressed how you like, they do not judge you at all. Very kind , family like atmosphere. People may say they are pentecostal but they cover every area of the Bible. They are out in the community bringing people to Christ. People who are not ready to fully commit will talk bad about them. If you only are a baby Christian you can go to this church, but be aware this one is also for full grown Christians. No feel good messages here, just the whole Bible.

Most importantly the four stars are because they are definitely doing God’s will by reaching the lost and calling sin what it really is without any sugar coating. Jesus didn’t come thinking [I better not say this or else people are going to get offended], no, He totally offended a lot of people because He preached Truth. The few differences of opinion that I have is only doctrinal that is open to one’s own interpretation which mainly involves eschatology

My son who is 20 went there last sunday. The following monday 3 of them were knocking on our door. We were eating dinner and did not answer until one of the creeps walked across our front yard and started looking through windows. What kind of cult is this? Stay away from this place

I came here for a family gathering back on Halloween. They had a great harvest fair. The employees or volunteers were some of the sweetest people I've met. Super helpful and loved how they had their super cute puppet show. Seems as though it is a great place for family and to hear the word of God.

Great church and the pastor and his staff were very welcoming. If you are looking for an evangelistic full gospel church this is it. Lots of active youth which is a good sign of God doing something in a church. I visited here while in town and it was amazing.

Nothing is to big or small for God... if your seeking him this church will definitely set the meet and greet.... amazing pastors ...amazing brothers and sisters ... been attending for about a year and a half and God has blessed me tremendously...saved me from alcoholism, drugs,and has restored my marriage... and still working on me in amazing ways !! In Jesus mighty name 🙏

I went to this church and I can tell you that this place truly has the presence of god, not just to touch your heart but to radically transform and restore anyone that is a lost case like i was. Jesus has done miracle after miracle not just in my life but literally everyone that has entered. It is powerful, it is real. If you or a loved one has been struggling for years then bring that here. If you are broken, tired or even suicidal, God has a plan for your life. Even if your life is great, it will be greater! Come and discover why you were put on this earth. Stop hurting, this is your answer. you don't have to feel alone and empty anymore. You have a real family here not just on Sundays but any day and time they are there for you. What do you have to lose. That you haven't already lost?

I WAS ACCUSED OF NOT LETTING JESUS INTO MY LIFE BY A WOMEN WHO HAS BEEN GOING TO THIS CHURCH FOR 40+ YEARS BECAUSE I WOULDN'T ANSWER HER QUESTION! MY RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS IS NO ONES BUSINESS. IT IS BETWEEN ME AND MY SAVIOR PERIOD.

Maybe respect other peoples belongings and personal property when they have different beliefs than yours. Very distasteful of a church.

I have come this church my entire life. It is in this church that I gave my whole heart to Christ. It is easy to live a secret or double life until the consequence of your sin catches up to your actions. That is the story of my life until after being a single teen mom I was broken and knew the only one who could make me whole was God.

I was raised Baptist but hungered for the Pentecostal experience. The 70s was the beginning of the Jesus People movement in El Paso and at the age of 15 I began to search for a church that ministered to youth and had a fire & anointing. By 1979 The Door came to El Paso from Tucson, AZ and opened their first building down the street from my neighborhood. I became aware of it when someone gave my sister a flyer about end times movies playing at the church. I walked into this unassuming building and felt the power of God. 34 years later The Door has grown into a 100K sf building and the people are still on fire for God. They have youth ministries, Live music every Saturday, live dramas, children's church, a Spanish ministry, annual international bible conference, sponsor missionary works around the world and my favorite is their outreach to the local community.
