This is the place to be for true Bible based teaching and fellowship. Pastor Chris is not afraid to tell you exactly what the Bible says, even if it hurts your feelings! Every staff member and every church member is so welcoming and caring. Their many small groups and extra worship opportunities are so convenient to attend and get your fill. There are contemporary services with contemporary worship music, and there are traditional chapel services with traditional piano music. Their youth and kids programs are perfect for all ages. There is a place for everyone here.

My kids and I visit The Cross Church in Wylie today for the first time invited by my Brazilian friend. My 3 years old does everything with his stuffed animal and he sleeps every night with it. Today was no different he wanted to take his stuffed animal to class and I let him because we’ve done that multiple times when we go to our home church in McKinney well it was very sad and unfortunate we ended up leaving behind at his church class so when we got home my little man had the Biggest meltdown a toddler could possibly have, he was so heart broken and crying for his best buddy he calls it my “brown doggie.” So my mommas heart couldn’t see my little man so upset we ended up driving back to church to recover his buddy when we got there church doors were All Locked and closed I was an despair because he doesn’t sleep without his doggie, luckily I found a few staff driving off the church parking lot and I flagged a staffed member named Jacob down and he graciously stopped his vehicle and I told him about our situation about my son left his treasure and he was so very kind and let us in and assist us an looking for his doggie. We were so very happy when we founded it. My son is going to be able to sleep peacefully tonight with his stuffed animal All because of the so kind staff Jacob and his good heart of service. Thank thank you! You safe a momma from a Rough Night with her toddler. Also I was so an awe of the young staff members of The cross Church and their faith displaying out in the open it warmed my heart. I caught a glimpse of their communion an prayers. I look forward to ge to know this church more.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending the Christian Comedy Association Convention, kindly hosted by First Baptist Church in Wylie. From the time we first entered, we sensed the Spirit of the Lord resides in the heart of that congregation. The beautiful sanctuary was the perfect space to host the opening night comedy showcase and it was wonderful to laugh with a great group of comedians and an enthusiastic crowd. The church building itself has excellent facilities and we were so comfortable during all of the activities. Located in the heart of a vibrant and quaint downtown, you can tell that the church is a vital part of their community. I pray God's blessing remains over the building, the staff and congregation of First Baptist Church, and the welcoming town of Wylie, TX. Thank you! {It doesn't hurt that it's within walking distance of I think THREE donut places, either.}

For those of you out there who really trying to find God and feel like that you don’t belong nowhere and you kind of nervous to try to come. I recommend you to come to the cross church. This is my church the doors open for every color they don’t care if you white black brownyou steal your family.

I love my church.. teaching the Biblical truth is important to me. The outreach programs The Cross is involved in for the community is such a blessing. There are many growth groups for all ages. Come visit!!!
