We seen this cross while traveling, didn't have time to stop but it was massive and you can see it for miles. Im not sure what gives it light but its almost like a lighthouse. Beautiful even from afar.

What a beautiful sight! Seeing it from the highway is really cool, but driving right up to it was awesome! I saw there was a grotto, so I'll have to go back during the day to check it out. It was a beautiful sight! FYI: It is a gravel road to The Cross. There was also a little memorial for angel babies❤️

Beautiful, peaceful place. Too bad, it seems, that people have broken some of the Statues, or perhaps they've just fallen apart. It's still a beautiful spot.

Such a beautiful uplifting place. I haven't ever seen anything quite like it before. It is down a dirt road a bit, but has plenty of parking. It's definitely a must stop for those who need upliftment or God's love.

Holy ground! Loved the cross. There is a book for prayer requests. Many small crosses on the property made by visitors... using rocks, sea shells, etc. Very special place.

We was driving down the highway when we seen this large cross. After doing an online search we found out how to get there! This is a great place to visit. There are notebooks where you can write a prayer. Also, there is a really cool walking path with statues and candles. As with anything public you can see signs of slight vandalism! A great place to visit!

Gotta pretty good memory there of my girl and I hanging out there. She like this place and I miss her something terrible. I have found myself out there a few times reminiscing, praying and collecting thought. They have a lot to see there sonif you find yourself in ballinger you should see it. It is beautiful.
