My husband and I are new members to this church. We will be baptized January 17 and I can tell you that everyone we have met thus far have been so loving and welcoming

I am a person taking cues my entire life from parents and grandparents to follow Christian values, family centered. I shun gossip, and it's plentiful there in your church. Don't ask me what is being said. Open your ears

Tucked away among the trees and away from the noise of woodlands parkway is a quiet place to worship the Lord. His spirit resides here and the environment makes you feel so reverent. The building is modest and the congregation and fellow worshippers are very welcoming! I loved the way I felt equally at peace outside on the lawn among nature as I did in the chapel listening to the hymns.

Mormons are nice people and you could do worse than have a few as friends. But I find it odd they are putting crosses on these google listings now as they spent decades assiduously avoiding the use of the cross in ANY church iconography. You won’t find a single cross on a steeple. You won’t see one on their hymnal. There are none in their chapels. Mormons don’t wear crosses around their necks. So why this very recent and sudden change? I was an active, participating member of this church for about 20 years of my adult life. And again, the people are terrific. But what are your principles if you teach one thing, only to shift 180 degrees when it suits your purpose? Same goes for the term “Mormon”. As recently as 2018 the church spent millions to advertise nationally proudly using the words, “I’m a Mormon”. Then in 2019 a change of leadership lead to the church stressing that the term “Mormon” was offensive, and a “victory for Satan”. What had been a proud moniker for decades was suddenly considered an offensive term. The shift was again a complete about face and it happened in an instant and now everyone pretends it was always offensive. I think you have to question any organization that maintains one principle only to do a 180 turn from that principle when it suits them. What other principles will they abandon? Today they use the cross for google. They wouldn’t do that yesterday. What will they be willing to do tomorrow that they would have shunned today? Anyway, I typically don’t share opinions like this publicly as my former religion might choose to punish me for doing so. But I think it is worth noting such flimsy principles for the unsuspecting public. So there, you’ve been warned.

I love feeling the Savior's love and peace here. Individuals and families strive to follow Jesus Christ, to love one another, and obey His commandments. All are welcomed, especially those seeking a better life.

Some of their congregation came over to the park for about 30 seconds threw a bunch of water balloons all over the place and then left without even a thought about picking up even a tiny bit of the dozens of water balloons all over the field, they don't have anyone to pick up your trash for you, the township just mows over it, but my husband and I tried to pick up as much as we could. If you're going to throw trash all over the ground do it in y'all's parking lot not the park with a beautiful small lake that y'all threw 3+ balloons into
