As a person growing up in a LDS Mormon church going family I thought the Mormon church was good. When I became an adult I realized the LDS Mormon church is not a good church since it fails at doing it's most important taught lesson, …

Several young missionaries came by my Apartment during their inner city journeys and invited me to their weekly Pot Luck Dinners and their Sunday Church Services. Attended worship several times at the Church on Judson/Stahl Roads. No elaborate religious decorations/symbols in the facility. A simple worship service of congregational singing, prayer, speakers delivering spiritual messages, and taking of the bread & water (wine). Baptism in water is a doctrine of the Church. One service included testimonials from its members. Another who was stepping down & who would be filling those positions. All members, all ages, are involved in the service. Those whom I met were all friendly and welcoming. Since I am paperless, happy that their App, Gospel Library, is the best I have ever seen. Complete with scripture, Bible, Book of Mormon, reading assignments, references, study helps, and hymnals. Every member around the world is on the same page.

A very welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Every member I’ve shook hands with since stumbling upon this church - has made me feel like I belong. I was hesitant at first due to propaganda against the church. But, after witnessing the type of people that attend and the righteousness they bestow. My fears were unwarranted and quickly faded away. I’ve received many blessings in my personal life by following their teachings & look forward to many more to come after baptism. I’d highly recommend visiting on Sunday’s if you’re in need of a good church near by.
