This place of Worship welcomes any one and everyone with open arms! They don't judge because we all have and do things in Our daily lives that we know that need improvements! This is the TRUE Church of Jesus Christ who knows that not one of his Children are perfect! While he wants all of us to follow his precepts and example all we can do as sinful humans is humbly accept that we are all that way but also know that we can strive to be a better person if we know what areas that need to work on! How can we know what we can do to improve our lives? Spend some time around those that are while not anywhere perfect themselves are doing their best to work toward doing and living their lives better! As I come here each week, I learn about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I learn to exercise faith, I learn about the gift of repentance that Jesus Christ made possible, I learn to make and keep covenants, I receive the renewal of the Holy Ghost, and I receive strength to keep moving forward on the covenant path. Building has 2 Wards and one Spanish Branch. One Ward meets at 9am and the other meets at 1pm. Whenever the Waxahachie 1st Ward meets the Branch is meeting then too. Both Wards are great and serve Ellis County with the Waxahachie 1st Ward serving everything north of Highway 287 and Waxahachie 2nd Ward serving everything south of Highway 287. Both Wards are growing in large part to increased growth on the south side of Dallas. Neither Ward is so huge it is about to split but is big enough to be able to provide ample leadership back to the Dallas Stake. Both Wards have a wide array of types of members. The Primary for children is great in both Wards and the youth know each other well. If you are looking for a place to live in the Dallas area make sure you consider Ellis County and one of these Wards. If you are not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints please feel free to join us on any Sunday and visit. All visitors are welcome.
