I love their humbleness, and walking with humility is the most attractive thing about this church, I came during my humble season and when I came back to this church, I felt home, maybe because I felt their love so genuine. But what really got me was that they were in their humble season like me. Their spirit is so attractive I can't help but leave a good praise review! God showed up when I came to this church. Come and see for yourself.

I started attending The Christian Center after yrs of not going to church in August of 2023. I have never felt so welcome by a church family before. From Sunday school to praise and worship to the sermon I am blessed every time I attend. I've found my church home.

I find it pretty neat that I live in Bay City. I grew up in a household where my dad was going to seminary and became a preacher and I was about 12 years old when he started the church in an area where there was not churches for miles because it was nothing but rural little towns but people would drive 30 miles to come to church because it was a centralized location. Anyway I remember the days that Jesse duplantis would come or Joyce Meyer maybe I remember coming over and passed your BeBe being rather old then at least in the eyes of a teenager... And seeing him and seeing how fired up he was all the time. And it reminds me of my father now and I'm the person that came and fixed the doors at the gym and by the office a few days ago and I just wanted to say that even though I haven't been over there and many years I have very fond memories of going to the church over there to see somebody, or sometimes just to see pastor hankins preach or my mom would come to the women's conferences. There is a very close bond between a lot of the people that my parents knew and the church there. And I just find it a privilege to be able to help, I'm the one that replaced the doors in the big building, along with the school building next door or in the windows and I love it every time I'm there. It brings back memories of a much easier time in our society and obviously in my life, since I was a teenager then

If I could give this church zero stars I would. After the loss of my father-in-law we reached out to the pastor to conduct the funeral services no one was available or willing to do so. He was a member of this church for over 25 years and gave back to it generiouly by teaching Sunday school and the Fourth of July services. After several phone calls we finally received a call back letting us know that because he hadn't attended services for a few years while he was sick that they would not preform the funeral services. I am shock that this was how they treated a devoted person of God. I always believed that pastors were their to minister their children of God and not to judge someone on the ablitly to attend services.

I am appalled, incensed and shocked at the level of apathy from the pastoral leadership of the church. After the passing of my father, who have been a member of the congregation for more than 25 years, no one was available or even offered to conduct the funeral service. It took several voicemails and prodding from the pastor's brother to even return our phone calls. Several phone calls were also made a few months ago while he was alive, in the hospital and gravely ill, to come and pray with the family. No one bothered to show up. This is not how Christ taught us to "care for widows and orphans". Apathy is the opposite of Love.

Never thought I would find myself wanting to go to church until I went to Gulf Coast Christian center. Everybody is personable and they're all different types of people I do not feel judged whatsoever and the pastor uses the Bible for daily messages that actually go to your life.
