  My family and I had switched to the Cathedral about 5 years ago. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my family. We were active at our last parish and slowly eased our way into teaching CCD to the first communion and our children altar served, and my wife lectors for the masses. Bishop Gary had left to San Antonio and Father Stephen went to St. Mary’s but we got truly Blessed with the amazing Father Kirby and Father Dalton. We had received the news that Father Dalton was leaving but throughout this period of time my experience was greatly astonishing not because of our priest but because of our backbone of the Cathedral our pastoral associate Jenny Vincent. She was always there greeting us and guiding us like a guardian angel. If you do so happen to come to our parish or switch to OLV you’ll see great priest come and go but the Angel holding our Mother Church together is Jenny and her husband. From her humbling mannerisms and her hard work ethic, you’ll never forget such a beautiful person as her.

  A beautiful cathedral. They had damage during Hurricane Harvey but have gotten damage fixed and are updating floors, pews, etc. Definately a beautiful and tranquil place to worship our Lord.
