If you’re looking for a place where you can show up as your real, messy, beautifully imperfect self- with all of life’s struggles- this is the place for you. A place where you’re welcomed and accepted just as you are. The Abbey is an awesome place to worship God and grow in His Word. This is not just a church. This is family. I’ve been going for 4 years and I have been blessed with some wonderful people God has placed in my life.

I love this church! These are genuine people in a healthy community. The pastors are brilliant and highly educated while still being relatable, humble, and authentic. I would even dare to say that there is little to no religion in this church. Just people passionately lifting each other up while chasing Christ. Before, I had been hurt by other churches and I am so blessed to find The Abbey is my church home. Finally, I can be a Christian and still be my flawed, creative, artistic, and authentic self in a community that truly values me as an individual partner in Christ instead of an outlying "member" of some "Christian club". God is good and He is in this place! Amen!

Amazing atmosphere with excellent teaching. You will always get the word along with outstanding worship! Some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Always smiling faces greeting you at the door. If you haven't been to The Abbey Church you are missing out!

Wow! It appears I somehow posted the wrong review on "The Abbey"... that review was or another church in Houston. Not sure how this happened! I really enjoyed The Abbey and was referred there by a very good friend. The people were great and the Word was more than relevant! Please forgive me for posting a review in error. Genuine relationships with friends who become like family. Sunday service starts with spirit led worship that is amazing. Incredible bible teaching, and sermons that come from the word of God and from the heart. I am so grateful to have found the Abbey two years ago. We would love to meet you too!!!

This is a wonderful place! Amazing people who listen and genuinely want to care and get to know you. We are from England but every time we come to Texas we come to the Abbey Church - it's like family. If you've not been you should check it out.... you won't be disappointed!!

This is by far the BEST church in Azle. Paul and Perrianne make you feel at home and preach about some really relatable stuff. I'm blessed to have been a part of their service and hope to be back soon. Also, the facility is top-notch! So, if you're looking for a church to attend, I recommend you make this your first stop.

Love this place since first day I walked in I felted I was like at my moms house so welcome, I spoke with many members after while and I haven't found anything than nices folks ever here Even I m from Europe, different culture and after so many years walking around and try to find home.... I found it one here Also I want to write back something related to post below from gentleman Alexander Somervile : I been trough many schools all over world Best schools have no teachers or professors that they use books to read it to you what is written in book ...they know all from books in their heads that's call intelligence I m telling you as someone who accomplish so much in life ....learn from best ones... not just from books... books are history we life for present and future ... take another's experience in right directions
