This man, a mechanical genius, not only saved my life, but the life of my wife. As we were in a parking area, a man we know know as "Tex" arrived in his mobile service and repair truck. I think he sensed my panic. He pulled up, with his magnanimous smile, and asked if he could help. I explained that we were late for a wedding, and our doors are locked with our keys in the car. Tex smiled, and told us to relax, he would take care of it. He got out his tools, and in the hot Texas sun, began to work. Soon he he was able to remove the hood, next he pulled up a crane and pulled the motor. Soon the transmission was also out on the ground. Next, after hours of work in the blazing sun, he used his crane to lift the front of the car high enough that he was able to crawl under, and get his hand up through the hole where the transmission shifter would be. Struggling, he worked his arm up so he could just reach the steering column, and after what seemed hours, his finger was able to pluck the key from the ignition. He let out a cheer as he untangled himself from the car. Jumping up, with an ear to ear grin, he looked at us as he pressed the button on the key. We nearly cried our eyes out as we heard the click of the door unlocking, letting my wife and I out of the car that we had been locked in for hours. We could not thank Tex enough. After he got the car put back together, I pulled Tex aside. He saved our lives. I gave him some money. He must have been in a rush, because that $3 didn't seem to phase him much. We will never forget Tex.

Out of all the people I know, Tex is one of them. Musician, singer, entertainer, auctioneer, mechanic, and I could go on. He specializes in thinking outside the box. Waaaaay outside. I would trust him with my dog. If’n I had one.

Tex provides the best service! Whether it’s his angelic vocals, prison harmonica tunes, or his literal life-saving lifeguarding prowess, he’s always out giving 110%.

He offered me some water boots when I needed them the most! He is our camp life guard and all around go-to guy at camp! He is always ready to offer a smile, a joke, or… water boots!

When you think of a man called Tex, he’s the guy that you instantly picture in your mind. Great funny personality accompanied by a kind loving heart. The coolest cat I know!

Great place to tent camp if you are in the area the host was wonderful careful in the pond I think there is A crocodile in their salt water pond
