  We were curious about what was it about after not being inside a church in probably 20 years . Freshly moved from the other side of the country. Not knowing the area and people , we were included , welcomed and hugged like they knew us from all our life ! We sure appreciate them all to surround us when we need community

  We've attended still waters 3 years & LOVE it! Visited other churches in the community and decided this was our fit. Very welcoming to EVERYONE without judgment. Love the fact they have such awesome youth for such a wide range. Don't be Intimidated by the size this church has grown & Continuing to do so with its values & love for God. ( not just a church home but family)

  Love visiting this church. Great bunch of people. Always makes me feel welcome when I visit. It is lead by a good God fearing preacher who preaches the truth in the Bible. Great staff of people working with the kids, The kids love going to this church. This church is everything someone should be looking for in a church.

  We are from Oklahoma and was in Carthage with our daughter this last weekend. She has been connected with Still Waters for some time now, so my wife and I went with her to church Sunday morning. I was very impressed with the leadership of the church, especially Pastor Matt. He was very thorough and spot on in his message and not just trying to tickle everyone's ears. If I lived in Carthage, I would definitely consider this as my home church. The only thing I was disappointed with was the people attending weren't very friendly and welcoming. After parking and entering in a side door before the service started, I was greeted by a lady named, Trudy. She was very friendly and made sure I got a first time guest bag. She helped me find my wife and daughter and then made sure my wife got a guest bag, since no one gave her one when she entered the main entrance. I was very impressed with her friendliness and kindness. The gentleman that I sat next to, said hello and shook my hand, and a few of the leaders of the church greeted my wife, daughter, and I after the service. After that, I pretty much felt like I was in everyone else's way getting out of church. I love the growth opportunity this church provides and figure once a person goes there for a while and gets to know people, it would become a much more comfortable church to go to. I'm just use to our home church back in Oklahoma where no one knows a stranger.

  A blessed place to worship. You are made to feel welcome. The pastors preaching is easy to understand and you feel blessed after the service. Very family oriented and a great place for children.

  I enjoyed Matt and his preaching. It felt real and genuine but other than that the place felt fake and processed. It made my skin crawl and i didn't feel the spirit in the building at all. I couldn't wait for it to be over so i could get outta there as quick as possible. It's a shame to cause my mom's trying to get me back into church and that experience just makes me wanna do what i always do on Sunday. Watch football or relax on the days i have off which are far and few between.
