On Mondays at 430pm they serve a hot meal to anyone in need/want. Frequently there's other items available to stretch your week. They have a clothing room where you can get 5 items per person per week. Helpful and kind people.

It has an historical landmark placard, but has been chewed up pretty badly by careless AC installation and additions to the building over the years. It's in need of a thorough restoration that is probably impossible financially. Interesting quirk: has two narthexes, originally one for women, one for men, according to our tour guide. That seems unlikely as Christians don't separate men and women in the pews. Why would they come in separate doors only to have to find their families and proceed to the pew together? But, worth stopping when in historic Gainesville.

Nice little church. Went for my friend and neighbors memorial service, and came back with a New American Legion member and chaplain for our post! Also learned they have a soup kitchen which we can get involved with.

Beautiful community of traditional christians. As a European traveler I was lucky that my step took me to that church where I shared the celebration of Christ with the faithful.
