Been to many different churchs mostly for funeral services. Somehow I never quite feel welcome in the catholic community. Little old ladies always too somber and churchy. Too churchy for my taste. I just go because my husband is "catholic" but too much abuse going on in the catholic church amongst others and every time I see a priest my mind just wonders how many children, women or young me he was abused. This older churchy women I wonder, how many had their own bad encounters with the church and hid it from everyone. Thats why the church gets away with so much abuse. You touch my child I will NOT stay quiet.

I have been part of the church since we have moved to San Angelo in 1999. I always feel welcomed. And my children now attend with me and love it as well.

Its a beautiful church, and goes back a long ways, my grandma was a member of the church, then my brother and I went to catechism , they put us in Christmas plays, we baptized my granddaughter in 2018. And till this day on we still continue to go to mass@ StMary's.

I always enjoy a visit to St Mary's Catholic Church, it always takes me back to my childhood and going to church with my grandparents on special holidays. SMCC is a pretty Catholic Church rich in tradition and the holy Trinity... Amen

I called to ask for help because my family and I were evicted we have been living in a hotel. I only get 753 on disability and my funds are gone. The assistant pastor asked me to call in the morning and I did to only be told to call another church this is sad that you are told and referred to these churches but get turned away by the church

It's a nice place to go to church to. It offers masses in Spanish and English so yeah and offers kids to go to school there to learn about Jesus n stuff :D
