I grew up in this church (1957-1972), and owe much to who I am. I still visit whenever I can.. Built in an unique egg shape. Houses a marvelous pipe organ. Not sure, but I believe it serves grades pre-k to 12th.

I’ve had the privilege of visiting St. John’s Episcopal Church many times for our school chapel services, and each visit has been a truly uplifting experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and reverent, and the church itself is beautiful — a perfect setting for reflection and worship. What stands out most is the meaningful student participation. It’s inspiring to see young voices leading readings, prayers, and blessings with such sincerity and grace. The liturgy is thoughtfully prepared, and the messages are always relevant and encouraging. St. John’s is more than just a place of worship — it’s a community that embraces faith, learning, and kindness.

Our Grandchildren attend school here. They have great teachers and staff. The boys are leaning a lot and really enjoy the school.

To be clear, I visited this church in a purely architectural capacity - specifically, as part of the annual White Rock home tour. From that perspective, the church is both a representative and somewhat unique example of mid-century modern design, and is well worth a visit. At the same time, the staff serving as docents and guides for our tour were very welcoming and knowledgeable, so if you're an Episcopalian looking for a new church, this one seems worthy of consideration.

This church has restored my faith and belief in our father, lord and holy spirit. Thank you Father Houk, and Father Cripps. St. John's has the most beautiful spiritual Easter visual I have ever experienced. I'm very proud to call this my church and second home.

You will be hard-pressed to find a more loving and open parish with the desire to help each person who comes through their doors with their individual journey of faith. Father Houk and the other leaders are diligent, caring, and knowledgeable.

Everyone at St. Johns was so friendly and inclusive each time I visited. The message was Biblical, relevant, and inspiring without being sappy or judgmental. There seems to be something for everyone going on, a real loving community of believers.
